Alina lowered her book, and her jaw.
“Wow,” she breathed, staring at the painting. It was her. And it was flawless. Almost too flawless. If she ever died, they could use this picture to identify her spirit.
“This is beautiful,” Alina said, touching it gently.
“Yes, I know,” Lilith replied, flipping her hair proudly. “Talent runs in my veins… like caffeine.”
“Can I have it?” Alina asked.
“Yes, of course, it’s for you,” Lilith said, then sighed.
