We all have secrets

We all have secrets

"Don't say that we are getting you out of here got it you go-" "Shut up *cough* and let me talk. You have to promise to live your life after this and you will live your life to the fullest after I pass on. Live. Love. Hate. Regret. I want you to feel it all, and when we meet again in heaven we can talk about them *cough* about all your adventures in the world " She coughed again and now I was full-on crying.

I just started to read, and I'll say the suspense in the prologue hooked me up so badly, can't wait to find out what happened in the past! Also, the characters are interesting, and the interaction between the siblings are so adorable and relatable. Way to go!

This is such an interesting read! The prologue breaks your heart and we see how Jennifer has turned (dare I say)...cold. I love the way you write from her pov, and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds. Highly recommended, well done author!

Unspoken Love

I’m afraid that saying them out loud would break the only connection we have left. I guess this is what they call it. This is the quiet, heavy reality of UNSPOKEN LOVE.

Phoenix in the Fire

Phoenix in the Fire

"We don't deserve this." "We don't." Noah agrees again. Sighing, he asks "Do you know what the scariest thing is?" "Out of topic, but go on..." Noah smiles. It's not out of topic. This is clearly the cause of all his problems. He then says "It's not 'not knowing ' what you want; it's not wanting anything at all."

Boys Love Boys

Boys Love Boys

— It sounds too sad, why are we listening? — What you just said reminded me of this song, even if it has no direct relation with what we are living. The point is that we are taught not to do many things, including cry, apologize, recognize mistakes, show feelings... — My parents always told me that I couldn't cry, dance, find a handsome guy, or love one. In fact, I always heard that I couldn't do a lot of things because I am a man...

What if I can't accept that you won't tell me? I don't think that I can do this with you anymore Alexander. " I said to him. " Do what?" He asked me.

Let Me Love You, Don

Let Me Love You, Don

Lucrezia asks frustratingly. ‘Because I can’t Lucrezia. I CAN’T. Those things that you saw, those were just the tip of an iceberg. If I were to tell you about this things, I wouldn’t be able to keep the hard truths from you. You don’t have to know all this things that I can handle myself. There are just truths that someone couldn’t handle.’ I could only stare at her with gritted teeth as I thought of the words I couldn’t say out loud. “I trust you, Lucrezia,” I could only whisper those pathetic words to her.

You cannot encounter disharmony that no one can speak, but you can pass by unaffected. This is our dream. This is our belief. Remain silent in speech. Let words think deep. Speak to the storm. Let there be then a war between you and disease. You win, you win. You for cannot give in. You for cannot doubt yourself. Even if you know you have a real limit, you need to shine. Shine is also of the bread that speaks little but fulfills life need.

Pertanyaan yang Sering Diajukan

The ending of 'The Things We Cannot Say' ties together the past and present in a deeply emotional way. Alina’s wartime story reaches its climax when she makes the heart-wrenching decision to send her child away to safety, sacrificing her own chance at escape to ensure their survival. Decades later, her granddaughter Alice uncovers this hidden history during her journey to Poland. The revelation hits hard—Alina’s love and resilience echo through generations, and Alice finally understands the weight of the secrets her family carried. The parallel narratives collide when Alice fulfills Alina’s unfinished mission, delivering a letter to Tomasz, the man Alina never stopped loving. It’s bittersweet; Tomasz has passed, but his family receives the truth Alina couldn’t share. The closure isn’t perfect, but it’s real. Alice returns home with a renewed connection to her roots and a deeper appreciation for her grandmother’s sacrifices. The book leaves you with this lingering thought: some truths are painful, but sharing them can heal wounds across time.

The modern thread also resolves beautifully. Alice’s strained relationship with her autistic son softens as she embraces vulnerability, mirroring Alina’s courage. The dual timelines reinforce how trauma shapes families, yet love persists. The last pages aren’t just about endings—they’re about legacy. Alina’s voice, once silenced, finally reaches those who needed to hear it, and Alice’s journey proves that digging into the past can mend the present.
