The Goodbye Unseen
Despite my tears, he poured the mixture into my mouth, the chocolate and ashes mingling with my sobs.
Finally, seeing my tear-streaked face, Andrew's resolve wavered, and he let go. I retched uncontrollably, my throat burning.
