Before coming here, Caspian especially learned of the life habits of the Underworld's Alligator-Turtle and Armor-Breaker Fishes and knew that these two were companions. Although the Underworld's Alligator-Turtle could live in water and on land, its body is heavy and it was difficult to get food on its own. The beast that were silent all the time were all leaving the lake, heading towards the intruder who had caused an uproar in the lake.
