I grab a plate of food and sit across from her at the bar. “I think I like the bacon better this way.” Daphne says to me as she takes another crunchy bite. I am sure that she is trying to make me feel better about crisping it. Either way I am just happy to see her eating. As we both dig into our plates, I begin to form a plan in my mind. Daphne has been helping with training the wolves that we have found to have special abilities. Since Theo needs some time to cement his bond with his mate, now is the perfect time for Daphne to take on additional training.

And then he pulled back his jaws, revealing those rows of sharp teeth. Alpha Calle, on the other hand, charged him with a dangerous growl. His red coat was like a raging flame as he soared over the gray wolf to dodge its sharp grasp. He landed behind him only to be attacked again with the other wolf’s claws. This time, the ashen beast was aiming for his neck. “No!” I was about to step forward when Beta Degen yanked me closer. “I need to get you back in the house, Daphne ,” Beta Degen gritted. “That’s your Alpha’s order.”

Narrator’s POV. “Daph, I’m surprised to see you here”, the young luna strode up to the alpha couple wearing an elegant wrap dress, Champaign in hand, “I’m surprised I’m here”, Daphne smiled at the familiar face of her good friend and fellow luna, “It’s so nice to see you Fiona”, they kissed each other’s cheek in an European manner pf greeting, “It’s nice to see you too, I was silently praying you’d come. I heard about your heat, I’m tried to call but you’re number was not going through”, she explained,

"And you are...?" Daphne's eyes sparkled with interest, and she launched into a flirtatious conversation with Arlo, completely forgetting about her initial intent to bully me. I watched in amazement as she transformed from a mean girl to a smitten one, her eyes locked onto Arlo's face.

But then again, Daphne had this obsession with overanalyzing everything I did ever since we were kids. A look of confusion crossed Chloe's features. “I honestly don't think she's changed tho.” Daphne shoot her a dirty, pissed off glare which promptly shut her up. “Are you questioning my intelligence, Chloe,” she muttered coldly. Chloe flinched and drew back slightly with her tail in-between her legs. “Of course not,” she retorted with a nervous dry chuckle. Daphne's upper lip curled in distaste as she glared at her. “Good, because it seems you are quickly forgetting your place here.”

"Daph can really do it. For those who don't know, Daph is amazing at Sarcozian and has learned martial arts. She's a perfect match for the character!" As I meander along, I spot a familiar figure emerging from the trees, and my heart leaps with joy. It’s Daphne. She’s become such an integral part of our lives lately, and seeing her brightens my day. It is like She is fully a member of the pack now, and everyone is threating her with kvindens and respect. “Daphne!” I call out, waving enthusiastically. She grins widely, her eyes sparkling as she approaches. “It’s so good to see you, Aloria,” she replies, her voice warm and welcoming. There’s a lightness in her step that tells me she’s looking forward to her
