The man who claimed to have created the core—perfect, polished, terrifyingly calm—stood before her like a god carved from light and shadow. I threw my head back and laughed, muttering to myself, “So that’s how it is… all of you deserved it.” I had kept the red pill I had spat out on the first day all along. I did not know when I would need it, but my instincts told me it would be my last lifeline. Last night, when I stared at the mountain of corpses, a thought suddenly struck me. There were no factions in this game. The safest way to survive was to stand completely alone. Hence, before today’s vote, I mixed the pill into water and gave it to the old lady and the little girl.

"He was the only survivor of the 2016 Starfall in the Mtwara region. His skin is denser than depleted uranium. He can walk through a hail of bullets as if they were raindrops. “The kids never even appreciated your efforts after all these years you took care of them.
