"Why are you doing this? I am your Luna?" Alison Carter, Luna of the Rose Moon Pack, cried while clutching her side. Bleeding from her Alpha's claws. Her red long hair was now drenched with blood. Her sapphire eyes reflected her fear and disgust against the perpetrators.

The siren song, echoing through the walls, chilling my bones. "Luna!" I shouted, racing down the hallway, panic gripping me like icy claws. Finn's voice came frantic from one of the rooms. "Mom!" I burst through the bedroom door, stumbling to a halt at the sight before me. Luna lay on the bed, tiny body shaking violently, her long hair spread like dark silk over the pillow. Her eyes were wide open—glowing softly with a faint, eerie blue-green light—and the song spilling from her lips was ancient, heartbreaking, powerful. She was convulsing, her small fingers clenched tight in the sheets.

I can’t wait to have her in my arms like this all night. “Hey baby, how are you doing?” “I’m doing okay” “The famous Ace Damon. Pleasure to meet you” Alora says extending her hand for a hand shake. “Same here Alora. Thank you for bringing Luna over” “Anytime” “Let me have that” I take the bag Luna is carrying as I wrap a protective arm around her waist. “I’ll take my leave now” Alora announces as she opens the driver seat door of the car. “I’ll miss you Alora” Luna says as she goes to hug her.

She already knew the answer to that, and so my servitude fully began. “Luna Sophia. The fan’s too far away.” I taste blood on my tongue as I bite down on my cheek in reflex. I drop the food calmly on her table and move to turn the fan lightly. “Too far.” I move it again but this time she grumbles. “Too close.” I make eye contact with Alora and she maintains it for a second or two, before picking up the remote and changing the channel with a smile in her eyes. “That’s okay. You can leave for now.”

I drew closer to him and placed my hands on his curly hairs. "You don't have to feel bad of yourself Alaric. Everything that has happened, all happened for a reason and I am glad that after everything you are finally back with me as my mate." We both smiled in synch and all I could see was a reflection of my soul within his eyes. "I already made my choice and you Alana would be my next Luna." It was almost as though I was in the dream world. I was certainly going to be the next Luna. The once hated Omega, the auctioned girl who came with no hope is on her way to being a Luna.

‘Don’t say anything odd,’ I added through the telepathic bond I had with every pack member. He gave an almost imperceptible nod, but I didn’t trust him enough. I expected a month long teasing after this. Maybe I shouldn’t have told him about my feelings for Orla. Orla, oblivious to our silent conversation, faced him. For someone so small, she didn’t seem to care that she was always around people taller than she was. “I’m Orla. from the Dark Moon Clan.” She didn’t mention that she was the future Luna and an Alpha’s daughter. It spoke volumes about her character. She was never eager to disclose that information about herself.

She had been drawing with charcoal from the hearth, her hand moving in a rhythm that felt almost hypnotic. I leaned in, my heart skipping as I took the paper from her. It wasn’t a drawing of a tree or a wolf. It wasn’t a map of the city. It was a map—but not one of roads and rivers.
