“That’s so-” “Archaic,” he cut me off, “Strange, power abusing.” “All of those,” I muttered, letting some of the anger lap into my voice. “It was just supposed to be like a dummy maiden. Apparently, this was done ages ago when the Alphas would fight to protect or save a maiden. It all sounded more chivalrous. It seemed easy enough, but Hunter was the one who suggested a real maiden. I can see that Archer is gentle, but he's also quite intimidating, especially if you're not close to him. If I were to rank the four male cousins when it comes to attractiveness in my own "opinion," Primo would immediately take the number 1 spot. I don't know him that well, and I'm aware he's a bit of a playboy, but he's still number 1 in my book. Who knows, he might make up for it in personality, right? Number 2 is Archer because I don't really know him that well either, but based on what I've observed, he's definitely number 2. There's something about his demeanor that's so caring, I can't quite explain it. Then number 3 is Ares. First of all, he can be quite talkative at times and grumpy,

"I freed you! I am the Emperor!" Elias didn't reach for a gun. The rabid dog completely lost his sanity. He drew a jagged, rusted combat knife from his boot and lunged violently toward the throne. Before Lucian could even cross the room, Elias drove the blade flawlessly into the Architect's chest, plunging it directly into the old man's failing heart. The Architect gasped, his silver eyes completely widening as he slumped backward against the iron throne, fatally wounded by his own pawn. But the absolute second the Architect's heart stopped, a deafening, catastrophic alarm began to blare from the subterranean analog terminals.

He pulled another arrow and started pulling on the string. Just then, a loud crack echoed throughout the room. Blood gushed from the archer's waist as an axe lodged itself on his side, piercing through his armor. The axe pulled away, and the archer turned to take a look and saw Ashvell standing by the entrance, holding on his double-bladed axe as if he was chopping down a tree. He took another swing towards the archer, which he blocked with his bow. The bow broke in half, and the archer managed to dodge away. Ashvell took another swing, and another, unfortunately he already lost the element of surprise. His enemy was too quick and agile for his big weapon and wide attacks.

The menacing aura radiating off Archer made him look more deadly. “Archer, please.” Olivia beseeched. Archer took few steps towards them. “And you know who is she?” he asked, gesturing towards Olivia. “She’s your step sister.” Alex’s eyes widened. Alex looked at Olivia. He was not able to decipher all of it. “Now you can get ready for your breakfast.” His lips curled up in a cruel smirk; he was drawing pleasure from their fear and misery. After that Archer strode out without another word.

In response to Archi, Alarik smiled broadly showing a row of teeth. Alaric is really adorable, his attitude is very much the same as Alea. The boy is sweet and caring, although sometimes stubborn when he wants something. But his face and posture are different. Can Archi guess that his eyes and body posture are the same as his father's – which until now Archi doesn't know.

Evelyn’s POV. That idiot had killed my first mate! By the moon goddess! I was going to kill him and make sure that even his corpse would be left in the field or the mountains or wherever for vultures to feed on. How dare he! “And do you want to know why?” Alpha Gaius's voice trembled as he let out. “Just because Archer had sworn an oath that Cyrus was not going to commit all his atrocities. At least, not as long as Archer was breathing. Which was why the evil man killed him.” He explained.

The one glowing black and gold. Kael saw it too. His hand tightened on hers. “That’s it.” Alessia grabbed it. The Current screamed. A figure appeared in the abyss. It was tall and cloaked, with its face hidden behind shifting symbols. The Architect. His voice echoed through the Current, deeper than any mortal tone. “So,” he said. “You found me.” Alessia stepped forward. Kael pulled her back. “Alessia—” She didn’t move. She didn’t flinch. She didn’t fear. She looked at the Architect and said, “I’m ending your prophecy.”
