Alyx glanced at the men surrounding his dinner table. The wolves had shown up unexpectedly. They wanted to talk to him about giving them back the river territory, but he’d already assured the Dragos it was theirs. The Dragos were the dragon species inhabiting the south central part of the planet which bordered with the Ice Mountains. “Brecc and Eros,” Alyx sighed. “I can’t give you the White River.” The Alpha and Omega glanced at each other. Used to getting their way, they didn’t understand what his issue was with returning their river.

I whopped as I sped on, jumping on bent tree roots and the grassy part of the woods. The mist confused my best friend and he got totally lost after he had hurt himself badly on his thigh. I bellow at him as I roll my gift over him. “Damn, I guess the cat is out of the bag. It doesn’t matter now; they have the information that they need” he says laughing. Strengthening my gift, I pull Ceron forward so that he feels it more. “What information did you give them?” I question him. “The almighty alpha dragon really hasn’t figured it out by now. You really don’t know why I wouldn’t want anyone but you to question me? Why every time I gave you answers was when you used your gift?” he says as he stares at me like I have two heads.

I wish I could do that. “Leo, what’s going on here?” The first Alpha, whose name I don’t know, asks Leo, sounding confused now, but it’s Delta that answers him. “We are here with the Beast.” Delta states seriously. “Beast? Who the fuck is that?!” The Alpha looks even more confused. “It’s me.” I answer him, my voice hard.

“What?” “Yes. My pack’s name was Mystic Warriors. And when I say my pack, I mean my pack,” I said. “I lied when I said I was a warrior for the Alpha. The truth is, I am an Alpha. I am the daughter of Alpha Kaster of Mystic Warriors. And the alpha who died in my arms…he was my brother, Alpha Ivan. Yes my pack was attacked and destroyed, that wasn’t a lie. I scowl at them. Tay arched his brow. “Unless I hear it from Lucius, I refuse to entertain this conversation.” Suit yourself. But when the Dragons come to kill you, don’t look at us to help you.” I cross my arms. “What do you mean?” Warren sits up. I start to pace across my spot. “The Dragons have a weapon. A poison.
