Alrik noticed me looking and opened the mind link. “What do you think?” he asked, still watching the couple. I shook my head slightly and replied, “She doesn’t know.” He nodded in agreement. Kaeleigh looked over and I could tell that she knew an exchange was happening. “I don’t get it,” she stated. “How can I be an Alpha? For one thing, I’m not a guy. And two, my father was a Gamma.” I shook my head and smiled.
