I had to wait because I trust him, matter of factly, I've trusted him over the years and he never disappointed me, so this time wouldn't be different. "Alpha, the other alphas are waiting for you at the throne room." One of my servants said and excused himself. I called the meeting actually, it was not all the alphas in the council that were involved, it was just my loyal men that I was able to buy their hearts to make me alpha king. They were few now, but soon it will outnumber Arnold's men, then he won't be able to stand me, especially since he has no successor. When I got to the room, I heard murmuring and realized the men already heard what happened at the human realm to my surprise. But

I can't believe this whole time my mate have been here If I just looked beyond my horizon I would have found them but who would have thought my mate would be in this part of the world. I started to follow where the delicious smell was coming from and It lead me to what seemed to be a local restaurant. I said while kissing her neck as she moved back from me, looking into my eyes. “What king?” She asked me, “Oh!” I gasped, pulling away from her. My lips turned up into a smile as I looked into her eyes. “Now you are interested?” I asked, smirking as he wrapped her arms around my neck. “Of course, I want to know. Which king are you talking about?” She asked me as I inhaled sharply, bringing my hand to her cheek, my thumb rubbing on her lips. “My beautiful Luna. Turns out the King of Alphas is her real mate.”

She sits there in her seat in quiet contemplation before turning her knowing eyes in my direction as if sensing that I have already figured out the riddle of the prophecy. “A wolf can not be made without being bitten by their mate.” At the sound of my voice, all eyes turn in my direction. “The Alpha wolf’s mate is a human isn’t she?” Understanding dawns on the faces in front of me, with only Beta Charles wearing a look of utter confusion, as usual.

“I want to and I will. That liar’s skull will be crushed by my hands but not now. I want some time to stay with her.” Alpha King was smiling gleefully, amused by Alpha Eric’s desperate tone as he was enjoying his pitiful condition by stalling time. “I have found my mate after fourteen years of wait. I do not think you need any further explanation.” “You did not mention before that she is your mate.” Alpha King become serious instantly, his voice laced with shock. “I also find it just now. If there’s nothing else, I will take my leave. Farewell, Your Majesty.” “Do not reject her because she is a vampire, Alpha! Mates are not easy to be found!”

"You'll have to reject that human girl." Alex, who had just been responding to his mother without paying full attention to her, suddenly looked up in shock. "She's a human mother, and, moreover, I've marked her. What if she loses her life?" "That's exactly why she can't be your mate. She's just a human. Where have you ever seen an alpha with a weak human mate?" Madeline asked before she sighed and continued. "It doesn't matter if you've marked her, Alex. Her fate is not to be with a werewolf but to die as a rejected human mate."

The territory behind the mountains beckoned to me, a place of potential refuge and acceptance. But as I neared the edge of the pack's territory, my legs finally betrayed me. My vision swam, and I collapsed onto the forest floor. The world spun around me, and a fog descended upon my consciousness. Through the haze, I caught a glimpse of a wolf who transformed into a human—my mate, the Alpha King. His regal presence seemed larger than life as he approached, a mixture of concern and surprise etched across his face. He picked me up in his arms and cradled my limp body, his touch gentle yet possessive.

His hand brushed hers, and without thinking, she entwined her fingers with his as they began to stroll along the sidewalk. “I must admit I have never considered humans a threat; they are easily managed.” “You sound very arrogant, Alexander, although I sense you don’t mean to be. Our people are in dire straits, and our race is all but doomed. I keep up on the news in a roundabout way, so I know what is going on. There are some human women with extraordinary psychic talent who are compatible with our race. The Alpha of our people has a mate who once was human.”

I lost my child because he chose to trust a stranger over me, his mate and I will never forgive him for that. “She is no longer your mate because you have rejected her and decided to treat her like an Omega. Selene is my mate.” The Alpha King announced and everyone gasped in disbelief. “What?!” Vivan gasped as she stared at me and then at the Alpha King at his announcement. I looked back at the King in disbelief at how he got to know my name. “Alpha, it cannot be true. This woman…” Orion tried to say. “Silence!” The Alpha King ordered, silencing their grunts and noise.
