Before I could argue, the door clicked open. Kate and May stood in the doorway, grinning.
"Oh, look, the trash Luna is finally awake," Kate scoffed, walking into the room like she owned it. "The Alpha is waiting for his tea, Luna. It’s your job now to serve."
"She's injured," Janet jumped to her feet, standing between them and my bed. "She can barely move."
May shrugged. "It's none of my concern, and the Alpha doesn't care about excuses; he hates laziness."
