Romans & histoires Alpha Lion Night Burn Reviews

Burns entered the office with me while my warrior stood by the door as I closed it shut. “What brings you here again? I hope good news?" I said as I gestured for him to have a seat. “Something is wrong with everything!” Burns finally spoke up in exasperation. I took a seat, heaving a sigh. I don't have time for this right now. “You're not as reliable as I initially thought you would be. What is the issue again?” “The young Luna, Aria. We've been lacing her food with little doses of Wolf's bane but it's not working as we thought.”

She nods her head confidently in approval and they step out in front of the pack. "Good evening, everyone. I see you have missed me a lot."He says in his Alpha tone and it results into complete silence. People has shock written all over their faces. Their Alpha is healthy and strong like the accident never happened. "I see, how my dear pack members are elated to see me back. You all cooperated with your Luna in my absence and it really touched my heart. "Sarcasm drips from his words and the people who were cristising the Sherwood family, hang their head low in shame.

"Take a look. This is the death warrant your 'good mate' signed himself." I swiped the screen. It was the system log from the pack's security comms that night. [20:05] Security Chief: Alpha, the penthouse triggered a Level-1 smoke alarm! Should we deploy a rescue team? [20:06] Ronan Sterling (Highest Authority): Ignore all alarms from the top floor! My mate is just throwing a tantrum. Leave it alone. [20:12] Security Chief: Alpha! Thermal imaging shows a massive fire, along with violent structural vibrations! The Luna might be in danger!

Caleb's voice was low. "Her uterus was severely contaminated by silver fragments. It had to be removed. Luna Selina won't be able to have pups anymore." The words pierced straight through my heart. Gone was my right to be a mother. Silence filled the room. Then, a fist slammed into the wall. Caleb had lost control. "How is that possible? I thought we'd have more pups!" "Alpha Caleb, Alison is in a stable condition. It's a male pup." Caleb fell silent for a long time.

I heard Deucalion’s voice ask from behind me. Just as I turned to answer him, all the torches, candle stands, and chandeliers in the hall went out leaving us in total darkness. I tried to navigate my way around the darkness for a few seconds but before I could make it to Valerian, I felt someone seize me by the neck. I screamed at the top of my lungs. “Illyria!!”

She simply pushed harder, trained longer, fought until her body screamed. Patrol came after training, because apparently, the excessive training wasn’t enough. Lyra joined her assigned team at the edge of the pack. Five wolves. They were all older than her. All loud, confident, and relaxed in a way she couldn’t manage tonight. She just wanted the day to be over. “Long day,” Garron said, stretching his arms. “Alpha’s in a mood.” “When isn’t he?” Ana muttered. The others laughed. Lyra didn’t.

“I have news for the alpha of the East Wing.” Flint did not seem surprised. He was calm like he already knew what the news was about while Lucas did the talking. “What news?” Lucas asked. “We just got the news that the East wing is being burned down to the ground.” The minion began. Lucas and Flint were surprised to hear that fire was involved in the attack. “Burned?” Flint was stoked. “Yes, my lord.” The minion replied. “They barged in with a strange machine, led by the priest. The machine was said to be spitting out fire and it burned down many buildings. The citizens have surrendered since the priest told them that their alpha had abandoned and betrayed them.”

I still feel the burning pain in my back because of the lashes. Wilson was burning due to silver. "Braden you will pay for this," I cursed in my mind. "What happened, why was the alpha mad at him?" Jade ask. When we settled Wilson to his bed, I told them what happened, jade rolled her eyes. "That bitch, she feels the luna position," she said. Jaxon took a deep breath. "I don't know what the alpha's thinking and his doing this," he said. "he can't accept me as a mate because I am human and weak," I said.

He asks her. Fire Moon holds up the poster she had brought back from town, “I went out to investigate our Little Alpha.” “He isn't our Little Al.. ." Typhon starts. “Forgive me,” Fire Moon says with a wicked smile, “Your Little Alpha.” I immediately take offense. “I'm not .…” “This is an exceedingly asinine conversation,” Typhon cuts in. “My thoughts exactly,” I mutter. Then I point to the notice about me and say "Look what Fire Moon brought back.”

The Dreadtalon screeched and thrashed. Aliyah held on. She climbed its back, striking again and again until the creature lay still, eyes dimming. A deep silence fell. Then, the runes around the arena lit up, bright silver. Aliyah rose slowly, her fur matted with sweat and blood. Her chest heaved, her eyes steady. She had won. Victorious. --- The elders stood tall. “Aliyah,” the eldest growled deeply, “you have run the path. You have stood strong. You are the Luna our pack needs.”
