His piercing blue eyes stare back into mine; they appear to be telling me a story, but I don't hear the end of it before he breaks eye contact. Father rises from his seat, "Harper, I'd like you to meet Asher Black, the Alpha of the Rising Moon pack."

I haven't been craving it. Sure, I had fun in my teenage years, I wasn't a monk, but I didn't need sex and, more importantly, I've never wanted a relationship. Since I started my Alpha training at 20, I have completely strained from women and any type of relations with them. I needed my head screwed on hard. I wanted to focus on becoming the strongest in our state. Packs in Washington state are known for their strength and relentlessness, but most of them are very closed and stray from alliances. They barely even compete in the annual Wolf Games.

Kayler looked at Azura with regretful, somewhat remorseful eyes; he smiled at her, slowly speaking: "Alpha's estrus is not the same as Omega's. So if you can't take it anymore, get out quickly." Azura nodded, and she said softly, "Okay. I will do that. Thank you, Kayler." Standing in front of Conal's room, she smelled such a strong smell of pheromones that Reana had to cover her nose and stand a few meters away. For normal Alphas, the scent of Alpha's pheromones dominates like a fatal blow that makes them feel pain and discomfort. But for Omega, the smell of Alpha pheromones is the substance that attracts mates. This familiar scent has made her nostalgic for the past month.

The doctor had informed Ryder that once he woke up and had his rest they would be discharged since they were in a hurry. “Sweet one,” The Alpha whispered in his sleep. “My lord!” Ryder exclaimed happily. “Sweet one,” the Alpha kept saying, as he struggled to open his eyes. This confused Ryder, who was Killian dreaming about? “Where's she?” He asked the moment he opened his eyes. “Who are you talking about, my King?” Ryder was confused. “The girl that was here? I need to see her!” He demanded. “My Alpha, you must've had a dream, there was no girl in here.” The Beta said, unknown to him the Alpha was referring to his doctor.

The water completely drenched her attire, accentuating her curves more distinctly. Raphael did not do it out of love, but it was an alpha’s lust that was stronger whenever Winter was in his vicinity. His hand traveled to her back, pulling her close in his embrace. Winter was not an expert like him in kissing, so she only tried to imitate him a little. She moaned in her mouth when his hand caressed her lower back. Winter, then realized it was not Raphael. He despised her and whatever happening at that moment because of his alpha wolf. She decided to pull away, but it was too tough to get away from his grip.

I want to comfort him, but I’m not sure how. “It was all part of tradition. Tradition left by those before us. By our elders, by the founders of the pack… the alpha is always the son of the previous alpha and they must be trained and tested over and over again. If they break, it means they are unworthy of their status.” He explains before I even get the chance to ask him about it. “He …he didn’t hate us… but he didn’t know any better -“ his voice cracks again and so does my heart.

The scream tore out of me like a wild animal breaking free, raw and unstoppable as Skoll's body cooled in the red snow. Grief hit me like a freight train, burning away everything except the need to make them pay. I rose with power surging through my veins, doubled and feral from his final gift. Three massive figures burst from the treeline, my Alphas drawn by the chaos and my unleashed fury. Damien, Jax, and Ronan, their eyes glowing with the same rage I felt.

ALINA I had thought he was different from that bastard, James. I mean, sex with him was different, but in the end, he was still like all the other alphas I had known since I was a kid.
