My breath hitched as I recognized the leading figures standing in the distance. It was my parents and right beside them stood Devon’s parents, the prominent heads of the Beaumont family. They weren't alone. Dozens of powerful warriors from different northern and southern packs had arrived to answer the emergency distress signal. Right before our eyes, several of the warriors shifted into their massive, muscular wolf forms. They lunged forward repeatedly, throwing their heavy bodies against the wall of light, while the Alphas in human form channeled their raw spiritual energy to blast the perimeter.

“So you need the day off to figure out how to get over your fear and accept your new… reality? Monday morning, the triplets and Thea trained in the indoor gym, as Liam silently observed. They never used the indoor gym. When they led training, there were too many people to fit indoors. Plus, they were werewolves. They belonged outdoors. But the indoor gym was better than nothing. The Alpha was serious about her not leaving the pack house. The triplets knew she would need some normalcy and physical exertion to survive house arrest, so they didn’t try to turn training into a makeout session.

I needed to burn off some steam and I have finally been cleared for training. I get to the gym at 6 as most wolves go after 9. I’m glad to find only one other person. I start jogging to warm up, do some weights, and finish with some boxing. The other wolf is a young male and he hasn’t left the boxing area since I arrived.
