Not one of the First Circle proper. A familiar shape, cloaked in darkness, stepped into the square. “Alaric,” Aria breathed. The man from the archives—the one Luca had once warned her about. An ancient ally she had never fully trusted. “I owe you a choice,” Alaric said, eyes glowing with hidden power. “And tonight, you will take it. Align—or fall.” Aria studied him. The bond thrummed with tension, uncertainty, and excitement. Luca’s hand tightened around hers.

The scent of aged parchment and ozone was thick. As we moved through the stacks, we came to a lower, recessed area where three ancient-looking men were gathered around a smooth, obsidian table covered in swirling, indecipherable symbols. They were the Red Moon Pack's Keepers of the Lore, scholars who had served his line for generations. The three advisors—one wizened, one stern, and one with a nervous tic—looked up instantly, their eyes widening in surprise and deference as they recognized both Davon, their Alpha, and the small, powerful female at his side.

His wife, Lila, smiled at him. “It’s okay darling,” she said, patting him on the arm, “Leah’s gamma bond activated when Theia conceived the pup. Beautiful even in a child's sketch. A silver dress. A crown. Mother. Written beneath her. The third figure was Leo himself.

Before I can say anything, Aurelian takes the chalice. “I, Tobias Cade Walsh pledge my loyalty, my service, and my life to you Alpha Darius Colt Barnett, and to you Alpha Luna Diamond Joy Stone.” Aurelian says in his deep, husky voice. He sips from the chalice, and he drops to the ground, grabbing his head. A muffled groan escapes him. I crouch down to help him.

“Arthur, he is a Sterling through and through. He has the tongue of a prosecutor.” “I’m a Leo!,” the boy snapped, crossing his arms. “And I don't like your tie. The silk is a low-density weave. It’s beneath your station.” “I shall have my tailor executed at dawn,” Alaric promised, his eyes dancing with amusement. “And who is this beautiful creature?” Alaric turned his focus to Luna.

He gripped his wine glass like a lifeline. “Dad, these are the casello's brothers — Lorenzo and Alexei,” She said. “Enzo and Lex, this is my dad — Aron.” “Mr. Rumero is fine,” her dad said with a shortness that made Lilith peer at him. “I’ve always liked Mr. Rumero” Lora said, smiling as she attempted to diffuse whatever tension had built upon the arrival of both father and daughter. “I think it sounds like a superhero. But what would your superpower be, Mr. Rumero?”

Bringing her back to this moment as the event with JK and his warning just pass to her mind, she is in a stance to fight and defend, asking again. “I said, who are you?” With the chimera’s image of a half-dragon, it smiles towards her as it presents in front of her the neon illuminated cards of seven as it slowly and one by one faces front towards her reading the arcana’s names. “The fool, the magician, the high priestess, the hierophant, the chariot, strength, the hermit. You are the fool, Alliah.” Ending her statement with the tick of warning towards her name, she is somewhat taken breathless as the familiar cards signs a warning and even more unto her.

Everyone turned toward the direction of the voice, and there stood the one person no one had expected. Elyon! As Alex gazed at the Moon Shine Alpha, he struggled to prevent his wolf from shifting completely. Xan emitted a threatening growl, wanted to go for Elyon's head and shred him into pieces. Although Alex managed to control his wolf somewhat, he couldn't stop it from partially transforming. The first signs of fur began emerging on his skin, his eyes shifted to blood red, and claws extended.

Its surface bore several black, wedge-shaped characters that appeared to have been haphazardly drawn but concealed some secrets. "Fetch the candle," I said with a tight frown as I continued to examine the parchment scroll carefully. "Alpha, what's wrong with this?" Bard was a bit puzzled, but he obediently picked up the burning candlestick and carefully approached. Without answering, I directly placed the parchment scroll on top of the candlestick, causing the black characters on the parchment to quickly blacken. "Alpha!" Braum shouted nervously. Just as everyone froze, the black on the characters slowly faded, ultimately solidifying into a hot gold logo. A wolf's head with a small crown ato
