The second theory of the universe would be the multiverse theory. If the multiverse theory truly existed, then Emmet would probably never meet Jasper again, considering that by using the time machine to move back in time, he had simply migrated into another universe, completely separate and different from his home universe, only existing by some arbitrary decision of somebody else, or by direct consequence of his own actions: he had essentially pressed a button to create a new universe to land himself in that did not contain Jasper.
