It reminds me of the Alaskan summers I had in my youth, before my whole world changed. We came up to a river’s edge and stopped to take in the sight. Alyse sat up right on my back and gently ran her fingers through my fur. It was a deep dark blue, almost black, but that didn’t sway my interest. Large grey rocks littered the water's edge, before melting into the tree line. This section looks to be pretty deep, I assume it links back to the lodge somewhere down the line.
