56 ANNALISE As the portal opened before us, I felt the familiar pull of magic surge through my veins. The incantations I had chanted moments earlier echoed in my mind as the swirling light formed into a doorway. Adrian stood beside me, his jaw set in determination. Molu, our guide through this journey, nodded solemnly. This realm, the one Marcus had banished his enemies to, stretched far beyond the portal’s light. Without hesitation, we stepped through.

Out of instincts, I swiftly took a step back and bumped against something hard and glanced up to look at Draven, who was now hovering over my body, his hand slumping on my shoulder. "We were only trying to have a small chat with the pretty lady here," A beach blond haired guy stepped forward, his intimidating forest green eyes making my knees weak. "She smells really good." "Too bad she's already taken." Draven seemed to be extra calm for someone who'd have usually gone all out on them by now. "Guess we didn't introduce ourselves," the blond haired guy started with a grin, pinching the bridge of his nose in a cocky manner. "Names Zack, I come from Alorain family, the descendant of-"

“You’re here. Oh Gods, you look amazing!” I laughed lightly, feeling the heart creep up my cheeks. “Thanks. They really did me well,” Loren smiled brightly. She grabbed the woman standing next to her and brought her forward. “This is my sissy, Alessia,” she said. “She’s the next High Alpha of Moonbeam.” “It’s nice to meet you,” I said, sticking out my hand. “I’m Zora Smith.” Alessia hummed and gently shook my hand. “So, you’re the infamous Zora?” she raised an eyebrow. “Kairos really has it out for you.”

I am coming to your location,” Alpha Zoe’s mate, Alpha Zarek replied. “Is there anyone with you ?” he asked as he took swift action to gather as many warriors as possible.

The lamia holds him down wrapping him with her tail and while coughing, she says- “I thought something was wrong with you… But to this extent. Even your strength is inhuman. You monster.” “I’m not a monster… I’m human…” “Huh? I myself being a monster was gonna get killed by one far worse. What do you mean you’re not one?” “I’M NOT A MONSTER GODDAMMIT!!” Says Akihiko breaking free from the lamia’s grasp and breaking her neck the next instant. The lamia falls down on the ground dead. He kissed her on the forehead and said, "You are so kindhearted! Do you want to forgive her despite the fact that she tried to kill you? Don't be so nice to everyone, Alora." Alora shook her head and replied, "I can do anything for my family. She is my sister." Zack smiled at her before leaving the pack house to go to the police station. When he was in the middle of the way, he got a call from the pack house. It was Milani, Alora's maid. "Beta Zack!" Zack was surprised when he heard her stressed-out tone. He frowned and questioned, "What happened?" "Mis A-Alora..." His eyes widened as he asked, "What happened to her? Is she okay?"

I picked up my phone and sent a short text to Zarah. “Glad we could help,” Zack said humbly. “You both did the heavy lifting,” Lyon uttered. “We all did,” Califf pointed out as he watched his brother being pet by Everlee. “It’s impossible.” Lyon turned to glance at Calder. “The stink of his wolf still lingered in my head. And now, look at him. It’s magically cured overnight.” “We’ve seen impossible things, bro,” stated Zack. “I mean, I almost died. For a second, I thought I saw blinding lights. Then I woke up healed as if I wasn’t swimming with my own blood the other day.”

That night, Zach guarded Zelle right next to her room, and in his dream for that night was the memory he will never forget. It was a year after Zelle had just lost her memories. Zach and Aaron just moved into the mansion to play with her. Zach saw the quiet little girl reading a black book under the huge tree. "Zelle, what are you reading?" Zelle did not respond and continued to read the ‘fairytale’ book while ignoring him. Zach sat next to her and tilted his shoulder over to hers to take a look at what she was reading about. That surprised him instead!

Zack yelled at him angrily. “But-“ Max was about to protest, but Zack cut him off. “If you dare try to harm so much as a hair on her head, then I will personally drown you in sliver.” Zack growled at him. Max looked at Alan, who shook his head at him. “Get Louve.” Alan told Max. “Yes, my lord.” He told her and left after giving him a bow. Zack was looking at Lillian with tears in his eyes. He transformed into his true form and flew towards her.
