' Amyra smiled brightly at the mirror and grabbed her purse, wanting to leave the washroom. As she was at the door Layla entered the washroom. Layla looked different from Amyra in most aspects. She was a model, they said. "You are Amyra right?" Layla asked her while doing her hair a little. Amyra halted hearing her. Seeing her silent, Layla uttered in a welcoming tone, "Xay has told me about you." 'Xay.' She never got a chance to call him that. Everytime someone called him 'Xay', she felt she was not close to him.

After dinner, everybody started leaving. Summit gave a ride to Mahira. She wanted to stay but had to leave because of work. Jane sighed and nodded. "You're right, dearest. I didn't think there was a reason to arm ourselves to speak with Cammy. Aisa laughed, making Amara smile faintly but also confused about Nanay Unday’s reaction, though she dared not ask. “Ha! I tossed the ones I’d just worn into the wash before heading back out. Amaya was in the living room, crouched over the TV, flipping through streaming options. Her hair was still damp, her legs folded under her on the couch. “What movie is it?” I asked, moving closer. She glanced over her shoulder at me and her lips began to quiver like she was hiding a grin. “Something light. You’ve probably never watched it before.” “Try me,” I challenged, sitting down on the couch beside her. “It’s a rom-com.”
