Amazon Kindle Jane Eyre Novels & Stories

It's been three days since she started delaying the inevitable event of being stuck with Dom in Canterbury. After minutes of pondering, she stood up and reached the small shelf of books she has. Her eyes locked on two books, Jane Eyre by Emily Bronte and Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. She had just finished reading Persuasion, and she was still on the assessment of her feelings towards the ending of the story. Maybe another book can take her mind off things. She decided on Great Expectations, gladly picking up the book and bouncing back to her bed, to enjoy another pleasurable surmount of reading a book.

He pulled out my Kindle and I tensed. Please don’t look at that. He smirked and turned it on, swiping through my growing romance collection. He lifted a brow. “Wow, Josie,” he whispered, eyeing me. “What have you been dreaming about over here? I haven’t seen one cover without a naked guy on it.” He stopped on one, and I tried to grab it but he jerked away and stood to his feet with a smile. “This guy—this guy is a stripper. You into that, Jose?”

"How about you, what do you like to read?" Sandy grimaced. "Nothing that dense. I'm more the dime store novel type. I like medical mysteries, thrillers, things like that." "C'mon, there's a great little used book shop over there, I'll see if we can't find something for you." When we got there I headed straight for the classics. "Here, you should try this one." I pulled a book off the shelf and showed it to her. She looked at the green jacket. "'Jane Eyre'? Really? Isn't this, like, some sappy romance?"

I glanced at him, then back at Christopher, and let the silence linger for another moment before I added, “I could read to you, just to help.” He didn’t respond, but Felix wagged his tail. I took that as a yes. I crossed the room quietly, stepping towards the bookshelf. My fingers traced over the spines until they landed on a small, paperback volume with gold-stamped lettering. I read quietly, “Jane Eyre” Perfect, I hoped. I returned to the chair diagonal from his, sank into the cushion, and opened to the first page. And as I began to read, the room softened, not entirely, but enough.

~Richard~ I swallowed and nodded hastily, dismissing the thoughts of how things ended. “Yeah, of course. I felt the emotions from your characters right from the beginning of the book.” I looked at her and saw a knowing smile on her face, like she could see right past the façade I put up. “Okay.” She shrugged, still refusing to look away. I reached into the bag I had brought with me and pulled out a book, a favorite from when I was much younger: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.

The dark sky had been broken up into raindrops which scattered with the sound of gurgling and the distinctive smell of rain. This atmosphere is very fitting with her sad mood, in line with the story of the novel she was reading, Jane Eyre. Although in her heart she intended not to read the book, because the book was highly recommended by Diana, the woman who was a thorn in her love story. However, Kat couldn't help herself. She keep read it and couldn't stop. She arrived at the part where the main character in the story failed from an imminent wedding ceremony, which only needed to say the wedding vows and was crushed by an unexpected reality.

And then she came back, and reluctantly had said he can go out in the backyard for a while. So I have been sitting here alone with four books laying next to me, all the books that I have read, and finished in the last week. I had pulled Jane Eyre from another fancy glass case not giving a second thought if he had something to say about it when he found out. The binding is so old, and worn making it more beautiful than any other, cheap, paperback copy you would find in a bookstore. I couldn’t resist feeling all the intricate flowery looking designs, on the brown colored cover of the book, and turning the yellow colored pages getting a whiff of that wonderful old book smell. I made my way to the main library, hoping a book would distract me. The room was dark, I turned on a small lamp and started browsing the shelves, running my fingers along the spines. I needed something comforting, something that would take me far away from this confusing house and the man who lived in it. I pulled out an old copy of Jane Eyre and settled into the armchair by the window. But even the words on the page couldn’t hold my attention. My mind kept drifting back to Lucian, the way his body had reacted when he saw me naked.
