Still with a smile, i greeted her. Her cold eyes darted back to me, it slightly sent me shivers though. I can see through those pairs how her brother gazes at me most of the time, specifically our first encounters. The Amadeus clan has the best eyes as their assets, i must say. And as far as i know, they're the only family who bear grey eyes like the gloomy weather or clouds indicating some calmness before an upcoming storm. "I'm not wishing for the same thing. Anyway, how's my little nephew here?" I was shocked at first when she voluntarily caressed my bump.

It slipped off the shelf into her waiting hand, the pages already turning to the very entry her mind was seeking. Strangely, the bird was observing her just as intently, an intelligence in its gaze as it watched the pages of the book open without her hand. She brought the book in front of her and glanced down to look at the photograph of the harpy eagle. The eyes were round and shining with intelligence, but they were not black. The eyes in the picture were a bright amber with a black pupil. She let out her breath slowly. Something was wrong with her bird.

Still looking at the bird, she googled the images of the bird, biting her lips intermittently as she waited. Strangely, the bird was observing her just as intently, an intelligence in its gaze as it watched the phone beep occasionally. When the page opened, Storm glanced at the image of the harpy eagle. The eyes were round and shining with intelligence, but they were not black. The eyes in the picture were a bright amber with a black pupil. She let out her breath slowly. Something was wrong with her bird. ‘You aren't blind, though, are you?’ She sent the words, not even knowing if it would work; It was watching her too closely to be blind.

What I saw next stopped me cold. Amber stood in the center of the bathroom, gripping the sink with trembling hands. Her skin was slick with sweat, her body tense like something was fighting its way out from within. Her eyes—Oh my—her eyes glowed a sharp, unnatural yellow, and her features had twisted, just slightly, but enough to make my heart pound. Her pupils were thin slits, and her face bore the briefest flicker of something… feral. She looked like someone caught between two worlds, and neither of them was ours.

Lying like a wax statue seemed best considering any sudden motion or sound might startle the jungle cat staring intently at her. How did she know a giant kitty hovered over her? She'd watched enough documentaries about the Lacandon jungle region to recognize those distinctive orbs of what she'd wager was a jaguar. The massive golden eye and round pupil shape gave it away, even if the fact the cat also possessed a blue one was an anomaly.

Her purple eyes began to be flooded with tears and as soon as it was hit by the moonlight, it made those eyes look beautiful glistening. ‘Like an Amethyst,’ Illarion said to himself. His attention completely drawn to those eyes. Unbeknownst to the man, the cat that was on Amanda's lap was jumping up and with a swift movement clawed Illarion's nose. The man took a few steps back holding his nose. Illarion's eyes were now fixed with vengeance at the cat that had landed gracefully on the ground. The cat turned upside down and growled angrily. Illarion was ready to throw the dagger in his hand at the cat, when Amanda gave a commanding scream. "Illarion, sit down!"

“I’m positive we’ll be hearing more from her in the upcoming days.” Ryker made a sound of quiet agreement. I might have chimed in, but my focus was on the thing wrigling in Nova’s arms. “What the fuck is that?” She cringed at the poison in my voice, but didn’t back down. Lifting her nose, which she used to burrow her way into other peoples business, she hugged the obnoxious looking puffball tighter to her chest. “It’s a kitten, Jude.” The creature in her arms lifted it’s head. It’s face was smushed, like it had run into a door one too many times. It had amber colored eyes that bulged as if it were caught in perpetual surprise.

However, it wasn’t the same as to what I'm seeing now. There was a boy. I can’t recognize his face because of the weird blurry effect of the dream. The only thing I saw clearly were his eyes. His emerald-colored eyes are still engraved in my mind. Even though it’s already been a year since I last dreamt of it, I still can’t forget his eyes. The scenes may be different to what I'm seeing now, but they were both peculiar and still not on earth.

Confusion swept through Spruceleaf as she tried to make sense of what was happening. She let out a purr when she noticed two familiar cats in question approaching them. A gray tabby with amber eyes, and a white she-cat with soft green eyes. These cats were her kin. It felt as if she'd known them her whole life. She wanted nothing more than to touch their flanks with her nose and hold them close, that way she would never forget them. "How are you feeling, mother?" the gray tabby tom asked. He was young and muscular, much like Gorsefur.

I turned to look at both of them, Apollo wincing and taking a step back, “Whoa-” “Holy shit!” James gasped. Alexander rushed toward me and grabbed my face, “What?” I asked, clearing my voice because it sounded a little froggy. I frowned as he looked at my face, “What’s wrong?” “Your eyes.” Apollo said, “They’re not normal.” “What? What do you mean?” I asked, looking between Apollo and Alexander, “Your eyes are amber, Isabella.”
