*Amber* When I wake up, I find Tjeck perched on the edge of my bed, his presence both a comfort and a weight in the air. His hand rests gently on top of mine, a silent connection that speaks louder than words. As I blink away the remnants of sleep, I can’t help but notice the redness in his eyes, the puffiness that suggests he’s been crying for what feels like an eternity. It’s a heart-wrenching sight, and the lump in my throat makes it impossible to articulate my thoughts.

Dark oiled curls, full beard and mustache, eye which looked in the wrong direction, and tailored suit with the evident bulge of a gun at his hip. Amber let Ivy take over as she headed towards Lazy Eye. That bastard had no idea what was about to hit him. Amber wasn’t the sheep about to walk into the wolf’s den, she was the fucking wolf in sheep’s clothing about to make her move. She licked her lips. She was going to fucking enjoy devouring him indeed. The hunt was on.

I walked to him and picked him up. "What are you doing here!" I asked while stroking his back, he looked at me and mews, his very unique eyes, his one eye was forest green and the other one was violet. They're so beautiful that it can make anyone stare at them, The cat was a delicate shade of gray, so soft that even in broad daylight he looked like a shadow rather than a feline. I love him! As I walked out towards the dining room, I saw Bella placing breakfast on the table, "Good morning, Davina!" she greeted me as she noticed me walking towards her with Dulo.

Yeah, the more I think about it maybe I will. Later that day. I leave early with my mind made up and go to the pet store. I begin to browse the different pets and finally reach the cat department. There are so many little cuties I am going to have a tough time deciding. Then I see it. A sweet little greyish-white angora kitten and when it looks at me it has the bluest of eyes. I smile as I know that is the one, I want. There is a button on the wall to call for service and I push it and wait.

The urge to protect Amber somehow gave me a little strength. I dragged my feet to the restroom. What my eyes saw when I arrived there was so surreal. I widened my eyes in shock as my body became stiff. I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing right now. Amber….. she looks totally different. Could it be that dad was right….. She was standing mid-air. Her body was glowing silvery blue. One of her eyes is silvery in color while the other is golden. Her hair is also silvery in color as it cascades down her back, and she looks gorgeous. She looks different…. Powerful….. totally powerful. That powerful aura was coming from her. Being close to her, it's weight is draining me.

I whisper to her so that no one else can hear what I'm saying. "You're fast, mariposa. But not quick enough. If you give up now, I'll let you walk." I let her know, giving her an out. I shift upwards so that I'm looking down at her. I notice how her eyes look directly into mine, captivating me. Her eyes are amber in colour, but they don't seem normal. Making me wonder what her natural eye colour must be. She must be wearing contacts, but why? Was she trying to hide?

She slipped her hand around his arm, and her inner cat went crazy, clawing at her to drop to all fours and give him her ass and anything else he wanted. Here wolfy, wolfy. No. Bad kitty. Bad. She grinned at her own mental sparring. It was amazing to feel that alive again—especially after everything that happened with her father and then with her brother, Charlie. The two stepped through the revolving doors and out to the street, and Becca turned to face him, knowing her cat was evident in her eyes. “Yellow with flecks of jungle green. Your eyes were light brown a minute ago,” he said, letting a soft rumble edge his voice.

A sound of laughter reached my ears, and almost immediately, a little girl came running up the steps, giggling at her mother, who was trailing behind her. “That’s you.” Athena said, smiling at the scene. “You look just like her, Amber. ”She was right. I had my mother’s red hair and face, but my eyes… none of my parents had amber eyes. My father’s eyes were a deep brown; they were almost black. They looked like orbs, and my mother; her eyes were a rich green. Like emeralds. “Where are they coming from?” I asked, as I noticed my mother straightening once I was inside the pack house. She turned to my father, and the smile on her face dropped. Athena didn’t answer my question. She didn’t need to

Our sweet child was clinging to his daddy, which allowed me to look at his back easily. He did a have a mark but it wasn’t like anything I had seen. Two fierce looking eyes stared back at me. It was like only the eyes developed but nothing else. No nose, ears or anything. Black fur decorated the eyes that drilled wholes into whoever was looking at them. My fingers gently touched them and my wolf purred. There was something familiar with these eyes but still something comforting. Waylon handed me our child. His eyes were barely open as he snuggled into my arms. Going off what felt right, I moved him so he could latch. Hungerly, he started chugging down my sweet milk.

-Hazel- I strain to look from the corner of my eye and just like I thought, his eyes were a beautiful shade of amber and his canines were now on full display. Unlike other times, there would be a flickering between his yellow eyes and his natural green eyes to indicate that he was struggling to keep his wolf under control but such was not the case in this instance.
