Craig’s POV The storm’s fury roared louder, tearing through the canopy and battering us with sheets of rain that numbed skin and blurred vision. Every crack of thunder felt like a punch to my chest, each lightning strike illuminating twisted branches and the jagged outline of Zane's territory with stark, fleeting clarity. The ground beneath my boots was a slick, treacherous mess of mud and water, threatening to swallow me whole with every step. I clenched my fists, fighting the instinct to slip or fall, knowing that even the smallest misstep would betray us in this chaos.

There was a loud crash, which scared everyone there. My ashes scattered everywhere. Jasper still felt angry. He laughed disdainfully and stepped on my ashes, grinding them with the sole of his shoe. The staff members' jaws had dropped in shock. They hadn't even had time to stop him. Jasper kicked my ashes and sent them flying. "Tell Amara that she came up with a very innovative trick this time round, but it's lame. I'm not going to waver at all, no matter whether she's dead or alive!

(ARES) Everything in me begged to stop, but Storm was strangely exhilarated. He never cared about women. I didn't know what it was about her that made him horny, too. He craved her, just as much as I did. "I want to bite her and then lick her off... She smells delicious!" Storm said in a strange moan, which made me want to run far away from her. I licked my lips as I looked into her gray eyes, full of dark, dangerous storms, pulling me in, calling to my every sense.

No strong aura or Elder frown and menacing expression seemed to affect her. “That’s my girl!” Stormy barked proudly, moving his tail in fast circular motions like an ellipse. It seemed like his rage was gone and all he cared about now was that his Angel was standing up for us. An exhale of relief left my chest, she didn’t believe their poisonous lies.

” Tasha frowned, “Oh, Sir Raven over there is not my brother. Not even related” Not related? How on earth was he… “I don’t care,” Storm snapped standing up from the bed, “I am not going to let anyone dictate my life, tie me down or take advantage of me and whatever my powers are. Not now, not ever” Then she turned to Blue who was staring at her with her arms crossed over his chest…” Mate or not” She spat. “Storm,” She turned around to face the other mana, Raven whose eyes were now red although he was smiling with a very tender expression on his face,”

Our arms too, so close there was no space for air. Scott planted a kiss on my head. "I love you, Storm"

I’m sorry. A pause followed and when his voice came back it had lost its edge. ‘You are lucky I like you. And as for the lights, they are out because of the storm — obviously,’ He added, because he could never quite help himself. ‘Looks like it’s going to stay dark until it passes. Lucky us.’ Just then thunder rolled again outside, heavier this time, closer, and a gust of wind pushed straight through the window Amber had so brilliantly destroyed. I severed the connection with a sigh and turned my attention back to her.

"I just got home, and you're already eating?" I paused, spoon halfway to my mouth, and looked up at her, confused. With an impatient huff, Joyce shrugged off her coat. "Stop eating and wash the clothes in my suitcase first. The power at Fin's house got knocked out by the typhoon yesterday. I didn't even get to shower." With that, she walked toward the bathroom. "I'm busy. Just toss them in the washing machine," I said evenly.
