Caleb’s POV Amelia was reading in bed, a frown marring her perfect face. The lamplight warmed her dark brown skin, glinting off the shimmering gold she wore across her high cheekbones and the metal beads dotting her cornrows. She was beautiful. I wouldn’t be able to find a single flaw on her perfect face even if someone was holding a gun to my head. I’d grown to care for her, to rely on her, to love her over these past three years. Amelia picked up the Cinderella book and started reading it for them. When she finished the book, she looked down at her babies who were sleeping peacefully hugging each other. Amelia covered them with a blanket then kissed their heads softly. She switched off the light and put the dim light then left from the room. She entered the kitchen and started washing the plates. When she was done, she took a water bottle and she came out from the kitchen. She entered the living room. and sat down on a couch. Taking the remote she switched on the television then started changing the channel. When the business channel came her eyes stuck on the headline.

"The book looks appealing to the eyes until you touch it." Amelia's eyes widened in horror and she quickly stepped back. She remained like that as she was too afraid to touch anything. "Why do you have such a dangerous book in your library?" She asked Cara. "I don't know, it belongs to Alphaeus and I've never bothered to ask him why he has such a book," Cara said nonchalantly.
