We're still rolling, Dr. Harris," I smirked at her, "The cops will be just as interested in this little performance as the insurance company." Jane went stiff as a board, her face draining of color. "You set us up!" Chester, gritting his teeth against the stabbing pain, spat out the words, his gaze filled with such malice it seemed he could tear me apart.

I say quietly, fighting the urge to go suck what's left dry. I don't wait for them to say anything and run off to where I smell the blood. I see a woman braced against the side of the building and two puncture wounds on her neck. There's a vampire, her blood still smells fresh. That's when I felt a knife enter my waist from someone behind me. I turn to see a vampire, blood staining his mouth. He takes one look in my eyes and his widen in fear. "Dhampir," he says scared.

Saturday Elle’s POV It was a beautiful day, the kind where nothing could go wrong. Tara walked by her side. She was saying something, but no sound was coming out of her mouth, and she didn’t seem to notice. Jimmy smiled at her from across the hall. Looking at him made alarm bells ring in her head; something was wrong. He stepped up to her asking if she was alright. She screamed. He leaned into her baring sharp pointed teeth covered in blood. She pushed him away. Suddenly, Jimmy was gone. She stumbled back and tried to clear her head. But it took her a few minutes.

Jimmy's chest rapidly rises and falls as tears stream down his face. His eyes dart around as he tries to back away. He begins to hear voices spewing hateful words, voices that are not actually there this time, and only in his head. He sees Asher's mouth move, but he hears his father's voice. "I won't let you hurt him father, stay the fuck back! You're not going to do it again! I won't let you kill another one of my mates!" Jimmy choked out, his body trembling as his fears consumed him.

" Jim, still on the floor, turned his head. His blood-red eyes locked onto Sophie. Meanwhile, Norris, who was driving, leered greedily at Hayley and the others. His gaze lingered openly on Hayley. "You little tramp! You ruined my plans last time and wouldn't let me join you. This time, I won't join your stupid team, either. I bet you regret it now. But it's too late even if you do." He smugly pulled out a large bucket of blood from his inventory, excitement flashing across his face, as if he could already see them all dying in a zombie swarm.

Dianna speed toward me to help me out but before she could get to me jimmy bulldozed her and slam her on the ground , she growled and sank her fangs into his neck "grahhhhhhhhhhhhh " Cheyenne speedily plug the dagger into her chest and she gasped . Victor snap Cheyenne neck and she drop dead and he grab Jimmy by the neck then thrust his claws into his chest . he almost ripped out his heart but Hilda kicked him away and he crashed distance away "arghhhhhh " Jimmy groan laughing out blood . “I’ve had a day.” Jimmy walked in last. Calm. Sharp. Dressed in that infuriatingly casual hacker-core hoodie with some ironic quote stitched across the back and boots that screamed I know where your secrets live. He gave me one long look over the rim of his iced coffee (with a biodegradable straw, obviously), pursed his lips, and flopped dramatically into the chair across from me. “Honey,” he said, eyes narrowing as he opened his laptop, “is this a ‘we’re all going to die dramatically in a fireball of cursed energy’ situation? Or is this more of a ‘digging up dead drama from your haunted bloodline’ thing?”

Jim couldn’t grasp anymore than that, his mind wouldn’t let him. There was a slight tremor in the ground, causing all of Sloman’s bones to rattle. The same fetid odour rose in the office like a sudden increase in temperature. Jim started to back out when his foot kicked something that skittered out of the doorway. He turned to look and saw it was Sloman’s hand, the only part of his body to remain intact. It had been severed at the wrist but Jim could still see his wedding ring.
