A Tale of a Married Woman

Finally, after 1 month of marriage, the couple had to depart from their family members as there was a shortage in Amreet’s leave. Amreet’s same old routine started, but, something new that was added to his life was Anjana’s presence. As compared to before, Amreet seems more enthusiastic, energetic as well as happy. The first day in his office was passing in hardship, as he was waiting to come home as early as possible where he could meet his lovely wife. While, on the other hand, Anjana’s day was spent arranging the house and organizing each and everything.

Marriage Contract: the Billionaire and I

Marriage Contract: the Billionaire and I

I reply, smiling. “You… you’re not upset, are you?” he asks and I quickly shake my head. Why did I even have any sort of expectations? I’m stupid! Nathan and I may be married, but we’re not actually married. Well, maybe there are official documents and all, but a piece of paper isn’t enough to prove that people are married. Marriage is about love and communication and a unique connection between two people. Marriage should be between two people who know that they cannot live without one another, people who complete one another. Nathan and I haven’t reached that stage yet— we may not even reach it. If anything we’re just a boyfriend and a girlfriend, but definitely not husband and wife. I don

Such a great story! So many ups and downs, but I’m happy that things worked out. It would have been great to hear more about Sadie and her sister, especially after the hospital incident, but I’ll take it. Great job Author!

The Marriage Contract

The Marriage Contract

THE WORD marriage was a big word for me. If ever you’ll enter into the sacrament of marriage, you must be ready for the lifetime commitment because marriage wasn’t just a stage of life where you wanted to marry someone at first then if you get tired, you’ll leave him or her. In the stage of marriage, there was no room for playing. People weren’t playing at this stage. Before two people enter this stage, you two must be very sure that you love each other and that both are willing to enter into a lifetime commitment. Being married to someone was the starting point where you will be building a family with your partner.

She Became The Devil's Legacy

She Became The Devil's Legacy

Baymont replies, "There is no such thing as 'married' in the Old Realm." "Uh, marriage isn't a thing, La, it's a ceremony or a contract." Evelyn didn't expect to encounter a cultural divide when she first came here, she tried her best to explain it to Baymont in layman's terms, "Two people who get married vow to have only one partner for the rest of their lives, share each other's possessions, and belong to each other alone both physically and spiritually..." "I see," Baymont commented briefly with a nod, "what a hideous curse.

Marriage Agreement

Marriage Agreement

Because she didn't grasp the man's point of view. Arthur could have let her live blissfully with the baby in her womb if he had wanted to. But he went to such lengths to obtain her approval. "This contract marriage will do you no damage, Milly. It will benefit both you and your mum. You won't have to strain to pay for your mother's therapy. Your life is also protected. You can use my fortune to support yourself and your mother, but more importantly, my mother wants a grandchild, and it's in your womb. You should not be concerned; this marriage contract will not damage anyone. You are not required to fulfill the duties of a wife, and neither am I. Marriage binds us solely on paper. Marriage b

Marriage with Benefits

Marriage with Benefits

"Wait, sir! M-marriage? Really? You want me to marry you? Are you—" She couldn't finish what she was saying because he cut her off, but there was still a hint of shock on her face. "Don't overreact, okay? I'm not done yet," he said. "You told me that your grandmother is in the hospital, right? You need your work to support your grandmother's medical needs. I'll be honest with you, you can't support your grandmother's hospital bills just by working at the store. Even if you get tired from working, it won't be enough. I just want you to marry me for some reason, and I know that you too will benefit from this."

Owned by my husband’s boss

Owned by my husband’s boss

Anna froze, the single word slipping out before she even realized she’d spoken. “What?” Jake stood in front of her, arms crossed, expression flat and emotionless—as if he hadn’t just shattered six years of marriage with one sentence. “You heard me well,” he repeated, voice cool and steady. “I want an open marriage.” A shaky, unsure laugh escaped her lips. “You can’t be serious, Jake.” But he didn’t blink and he didn’t smile. “I’m dead serious.”

My Best Friend’s Uncle… and My Baby Daddy

My Best Friend’s Uncle… and My Baby Daddy

“It’s a partnership of families.” “Look, Chloe, I get that you think my marriage to your uncle is like the ones you people do. But I am not like you guys,” Autumn said, standing up. The sunlight felt too bright now, too exposing. “No, I did not get married to Eric and all of you. I married one person... one man. She paused, taking a breath to steady her shaking hands. “Yes, marriage is something that is shared between two people which at the end links families together. But mine isn’t like the one you people practice, where outsiders interfere and dictate how it should be run.”

Once Upon a Marriage

Once Upon a Marriage

i muttered, clinking my glass to his in a bitter toast. “Is that so?” He chuckled, his gaze soft and unintrusive. “Not... not all, maybe,” i admitted reluctantly. “But the kind I keep meeting? Yeah. Definitely trash.” I laughed, though there was no humor in my voice. I had been talking too much, I know, but it was as if once I start, there is no stopping. “Seven years of marriage,” i continued, shaking my head, “Gone in an instant, and for what? A spark with an old lover, my stepsister!” I looked away, focusing on the golden lights. “Turns out I was... disposable.”

He spoke simply, without flowery words or talk of submission or possession. “Marriage,” he said, looking at us both, “is not about one person belonging to another. It is about two people choosing to walk the same road, respecting each other’s pace, sharing the burdens, and celebrating the joys. It is built on truth, not pretense; on respect, not control; and on the freedom to remain who you are, even as you become something more together.”
