To the Bone

To the Bone

In Black Salt, love is a sickness you can’t hide—a slow gnawing beneath the skin that leaves you hollowed, grayed, and eventually gone. No one stays long enough to see it through; they leave before the rot finishes its work. It’s what the town teaches you: when it starts, you run. You look away. You survive by pretending not to feel. But Atlas is tired of pretending. The halls of Black Salt High are full of kids pretending they don’t see each other’s bruised hearts, pretending their bones aren’t already whispering warnings. Still, he can’t forget the weight of a father who stayed—not out of love, but because he never felt it deep enough to decay. That truth lingers in Atlas like a second shadow. And then there’s Nova—the outsider with a storm in her bones. And Wren, all sharpness and fight. Milo, who cracks jokes to keep the silence at bay. Luce, who wears her thorns like jewelry. Together, they don’t know how to stop the rot. But they’re learning how to sit with it, how to name it, how to refuse the small, hollow deaths of pretending not to care. In a town where love is a death sentence, staying might be the bravest thing of all.

Taming The CEO's Son: A Marriage of Inconvenience

Taming The CEO's Son: A Marriage of Inconvenience

Marry the playboy son of her boss for ten million dollars? Leia thought the choice would have been easy. After all, her mother was dying and the money would have helped with the treatment. There was never supposed to be love involved, just a quick and easy transition between two consenting adults. Then it got complicated. It became her heart on the line, and those two years of contracted marriage seemed like a world away. Women were all the same. Gold Diggers. So that was exactly how Christian would treat Leia - After all, she married him for money. Not having liked her from the start, Christian agreed with his father's plans; It was much easier than learning to trust again. He'd learned the hard way that women only wanted one thing and it was never him, just the dollar signs he was worth. So he's lived behind an arrogant and charming demeanour, thinking it was the only way to survive. It was why Leia hated him right back. Then their worlds collided, and they learned neither was how they perceived the other to be. It was no longer only Leia's heart on the line, but Christian's too. Will this be a marriage of inconvenience or a blessing in disguise?

Kelly
I don’t usually like these kinds of arranged marriage/CEO playboy books, but the writing so far has been good and engaging. With only 9 chapters up so far, I’m hopeful the rest will be just as good. Maybe I’ll go read some of her other books while I wait for this one to binge

The synopsis made me curious and it's even better than I thought. They're both so attracted to each other, it's sizeling hot! It made me laugh too and I understand her feelings and mindset. Very well written, looking forward. Christian having everything from Tom Ford is sexy btw.

Always Been You

Always Been You

Sleeping with my best friend was something that shouldn’t have happened. We made a promise to each other when we were young, but it was long forgotten, at least by him, but not by me. I didn’t forget that he was my prince charming. He dated girls, which I didn’t mind because I was still underage. We slept in the same bed until this date, but we have never crossed the line. The problem started when his fiancée failed to appear for their wedding, and I had to play the role of his bride for the day just to save his face. That was the date everything changed. We had the steamiest night, and he told me it shouldn’t have happened because he was dating my best friend, Candice. That struck me dead in the gut. I should have known that our promises were long forgotten. He took my innocence and told me it shouldn’t have happened. That hurts, but nothing hurts more than learning you’re pregnant with your best friend’s child and you can’t tell him because he is in love with your friend. !Daily updates!

Haunted by PTSD and the brutal memories of captivity, Asher struggles to live beyond survival. The open fields of Montana mirror his isolation, and the ghosts of his past stalk every quiet night. When Asher falls in love, he falls hard. For a while, he dares to dream again—to build, to belong, to believe. But as despair and nightmares reclaim their hold, he’s forced to face the truth: before he can love anyone, he must first forgive himself. Desperate to heal, Asher finally seeks help, beginning a painful journey through therapy and self-reckoning. Along the way, life takes an unexpected turn—two foster boys enter his care, awakening a fragile new sense of purpose. Asher learns that strength isn’t just about enduring—it’s about choosing to live. The Lansing House is a moving story of redemption, resilience, and the courage to find peace after war. It’s about learning to let go of control, embrace vulnerability, and fight—not for survival, but for happiness.

Second in Silence

Second in Silence

A plane crash tore my husband and his twin brother apart. One survived. One did not. When I rushed to the hospital, I saw my brother-in-law, who had just survived the crash, locked in a passionate kiss with his wife. My husband? He lay lifeless in the morgue. Blinded by grief, I stumbled down the stairs…and lost the child I had spent three years longing for. Three years passed. Just as I was finally learning to breathe without him, I overheard a conversation between his closest friend and my brother-in-law: "How long do you plan to keep pretending to be your brother? Alicia is your legal wife." He adjusted his glasses, voice icy and distant. "I swore to my brother I'd protect Emily for the rest of my life. I am him now. As for Alicia… let her be the debt I carry into my next life." That's when I learned the truth. It was the brother-in-law who died in the crash. My husband, the man I had mourned all those years, had taken on his brother's identity to stay by Emily's side, the unattainable woman he had always secretly loved. So then what about me? The woman clinging to old memories, living in torture for three years. What was I to him?

The Rugby Captain’s Secret Obsession

The Rugby Captain’s Secret Obsession

Vivienne Kane has spent years forging her future in silence and shadow—her final thesis exhibition the only thing standing between her and the betrayal that once stole her voice, her art, and her trust. When a campus plumbing catastrophe forces her into a cramped off-campus apartment with Asher Donovan—the university's charismatic rugby captain whose life is all noise, team spirit, and golden-boy pressure—she braces for war. He's too loud, too present, too everything she avoids. Yet from the moment he catches her painting through a half-open door, Asher is hooked—not on her beauty, but on the storm she hides in every brushstroke. He starts small: quiet coffee deliveries, late-night silences in her studio, fierce defense against anyone who dares threaten her work. What begins as clashing egos and slammed doors spirals into something neither can ignore—raw vulnerability, protective fury, and a heat that scorches through every boundary she's built. In a world of late-night canvases and bruising practices, two guarded hearts collide: one learning to trust again, the other discovering what it means to fight for someone who finally sees you. Enemies at first sight. Roommates by disaster. Lovers by choice.
