I had finished cleaning the kitchen, under the guidance of Margaret. She was an Omega and an elderly servant, whom to my knowledge, was Hawthorne's most trusted maid. She had decided to help relieve me of some duties and had sent some maids to replace me. “Take a break, Aurora. You will need it.” She said as she gave me a look of pity. I will take my break, when I clean the Alpha’s room.” I informed her and hesitantly, she nodded and I headed toward Hawthorne's room.

He handed Aaron a tub of pills and he smiled at me. Don took the doctors suitcase and supplies and escorted him out. Aaron pulled over the blanket and sat next to me. I looked over to see a young guy come over to me, smiling. "Well isn't this a pleasant way to meet the Luna." He chuckled. I smiled up at him awkwardly. "Hi, the name is Helena. What would yours be?" I tried lifting up, but Aaron didn't let me. He moved the pillows onto the backboard of the bed and helped me lean against it.

Chapter 6 Scarlett POV On our drive back to the packhouse, I mind link Cayden to let him know that I’m on my way back and that Raul will be staying the night so that he can also meet with Bruno and my parents in the morning. I then mind link Aurora, the pack’s Head Omega, to let her know that Raul will be spending the night and to please make up a room for him on the Alpha floor. I know good and damn well that Raul will be sleeping in my suite with me—and frankly, Aurora probably knows it, too—but this way we can at least make it look that everything is platonic.
