Ana Steele Novels & Stories

She blinked a few times just to be sure that Katia, Annalee, and Kira were really at her baby shower. Katia, the beautiful and limber Russian girl, the top earner at the Cobra Club. Blonde hair, innocent looking, and appeared several years younger than her true age of nineteen. That alone made her a valuable commodity at the club where she was known as Anastasia, the jewel of Russia.

Anastasia Brooke stood on the rooftop‍ terrace of‍ her‍ fami‍ly’s penthouse, the c‍ity g‌littering below like scattered diamonds. The wind tugged at her silk robe as she scro‌lled through the latest headlines on her tablet. Her‍ state‍ment had done exactly what she intended humiliated Damien publicly, tanked Voss stock further, and pai‌nted her as the trag‍i‌c, dignifie‍d‍ victim.

"Playing games like catching a cheater, that's better left for you and Nixon." Rose coldly disconnected the call. Kelly didn't expect this reaction from Rose. She looked toward the nearby figure of Jonathan and a woman. The woman was none other than Anastasia. Anastasia had just arrived in Aquastead, and she was eager to see him. Therefore, she called him as soon as she got off the plane. "Jonathan, it's been so long. Originally, I was supposed to come to the National Jewelry Design Award with my brother, but Anthony ..."

She has black eyes and blonde braids. “I am so sorry to scare you like that mam.” “It’s okay. You are?” “I am Anastasia, Mrs. Rodrigues. But please call me Stasia. I am the housekeeper. It’s nice to meet you.” “Hi Ana, it’s nice to meet you too. And call me Aanya.” “You look beautiful, Mrs Rodri- I mean Aanya. I see you have explored the first floor, I will take you to the second one and show you your room so you can rest.”

Hazel Eyes Anastasia Perry, an elegant figure at 5'10" with striking blue eyes and flowing blonde hair, stood amidst the bustling city sidewalk. Her cobalt blue pantsuit radiated confidence, while her honey blonde hair was impeccably gathered into a sleek ponytail. The world outside was a whirlwind of activity, but Anastasia's focus was on one thing – her wristwatch. Time was slipping away, and she knew she had to hurry. Her job interview at the prestigious Pinnacle investment banking organization was scheduled for this morning at eight, and the stakes had never been higher.

I’ve had countless opponents and most of them didn’t dare to even look at me, but Anastasia doesn’t only stare, she also glares and talks back, among a lot of other fucking things. “You can’t win against me in court, Steele. Maybe in a couple of decades, and only if I’m suffering from some form of dementia. And you, Anastasia, do you honestly believe threatening me is the right way to handle this?”

*** Anastasia sat in the company meeting room with a pale face, staring at her phone, which was filled with bad news. The circulating news portrayed her as a woman who would do anything for popularity. Now, with the emergence of news about Maximilian—or Max Stone, a man with a history of legal troubles—her image had grown worse in the public eye. The marriage to Max Stone was seen as a way for her to reclaim Leon Hale.

Crueler. “Son,” she says again, the single word dripping disdain. Stella stiffens beside me. Her fingers dig into my arm. “Do not get friendly with her,” she hisses under her breath. “That’s Anastasia Volkov. Nicholas’s step mother. She eats girls like you for breakfast.” My stomach drops to my heels. Anastasia’s gaze flicks to me, slow, assessing, like she’s pricing livestock. “And this is…?” Nicholas’s arm tightens, pulling me so close my hip presses against his. His smirk is razor-sharp.

"Did you really think you could intimdate me because you're loaded with money? Because you're an Austin? Do you think your money has any value to me? Think again. "You're looking remorseful now because you've realized who I am. What if you didn't get to know my identity? Let me tell you, learn to respect people regardless of who or what they are. This attitude of yours won't get you anywhere in life. "I screamed because I thought that substance was something else. By the way, you asked if my parents can afford that wine. To answer you, my parents can buy you and everything involving you and they'll still have change. I am Annabelle Siromani and you will not disrespect me or my family."

But she only answered me with a smirk. Exasperated by her silent mockery, I walked off to my white steed, Stardust, and swiftly swung myself over the saddle like I had done a thousand times before. All the while, I could feel Anastasia's chilling gaze on my every move. She was never concerned about being caught staring. She was brought up as a princess and got she wanted with no one to object her. I had given up hinting that she had no respect towards me, and when I looked back at her, she would only hold our gaze longer. I looked away, unable to stand the heat of her stare and gestured to the other horse impatiently.
