We just finished our intrams so we went back to school again. I smiled as I greeted Twaine with my tight hug but she didn’t seem to be on herself. I could see the sadness in her angelic eyes. Anne stopped crying and wiped her tears as she turned to look at the two teenagers and smiled faintly. "She's going to be fine". Anne sniffled. "Full of people who seem to think a bone-crushing handshake is a defining personality trait. A border dispute, easily resolved once everyone stopped posturing long enough to actually listen." She waved a dismissive hand, then her gaze snapped back to me, her expression sharpening with an intense focus. "Show me again. I want to see if it holds up under actual pressure, not just out here in the open air.”

Anaya has sent the address, three fire emojis, and a voice note that is just her screaming at a pitch only dogs should be able to hear. I almost smile. I head for the door.

″ Anas screamed in his usual manner. Anna rolled her eyes. ″I knew you guys would be awake by this time,″ she explained. ″Yeah right. And you couldn't call for how many days?″ Haniya said as she eyed Anna. ″I'm so sorry.
