The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

It was said that because he fell in love and proposed to a celestial goddess of the moon, Selene— he was cursed to never walk under daylight again by the celestial god of the sun (also known as the celestial god of light, oracles, knowledge, healing, diseases, music, poetry, songs, dance, archery, herds and flocks, and protection of young), Apollo, out from jealousy. Then in order to become immortal to live with Selene, he went to the underworld and made a deal to the celestial god of the underworld, Hades. However, to make that deal— he needs to give Hades the silver bow and arrows of the celestial goddess of the hunt, Artemis. Knowing that Ambrogio tried to steal her silver bow and arrows—

A Queen Among Darkness

A Queen Among Darkness

“You keep saying ‘they’, do you mean Jartre helped?” I snort, “He’s not the helping type. I was referring to Ezillus. Last I checked Ezillus doesn’t see themself as male or female, believing Gods are beyond such binary gender constructs that humans create,” I shrug. “A non-binary God? Now I’ve heard everything,” she laughs, then settles down, “It sounds like all supernaturals were created by the Gods to save them from a terrible death. What was done to them was to protect them, and yet venators hunt them as some evil abominations that go against God,” she sighs.

Denae O'Connor
This is by far my favorite book in this entire series. Not every author can write a same-sex relationship and make it so layered and nuanced instead of "corny". A.D. Burnell is a Queen Among Authors, and I can't wait until they get thr recognition they so thoroughly deserve.

One of the things i love about this series is that you think you know everything, and then you start the next book and so many layers are peeled back that blow your mind. it makes this the most addictive series ever

The Wolf’s Bride

The Wolf’s Bride

Just as Wade, Kate, and Luna were still in shock, Andrius had already immersed himself in the brand-new mural. This mural was very different from before. The little figures cultivating on the altar had changed from one person to six! Three men and three women! However, although those figures each had four limbs and a head, Andrius could not call them ‘people’ because each figure was split into two completely opposite halves from the center line. On the left was divine light, dignified as if governing the heavens. After enduring all the tribulations, they finally achieved the position of a supreme saint and emitted an aura of righteousness like a god!

Hidden By The Gods (Book #2 of Silver Moon Series)

Hidden By The Gods (Book #2 of Silver Moon Series)

I tell him. We had made our plan, and we would see it through. I knew this plan was going to be dangerous, and I knew that we could easily end up dead. I knew that Asmoday was friends with three humans that had wanted to be turned into werebears by Athena. Yeah, all those gods had created many creatures over the last 2000 years. Both Athena and Aphrodite had created were creatures. Part human, part beast. The human was able to shift into an animal. They had created all sorts of humans that could shift into wolves, bears, numerous species of big cats, foxes, and many other animals. Athena also created dragons. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades had begun a competition to see who could create t

Mate to the King

Mate to the King

I flick my wrist and the fire leaps from my palm. "How can you still do this?" I hear Ash ask. I tug a little at the freezing metal collar around my neck. "I'm not really sure," I murmur. "I wish I could do it," he mutters. "I'll teach you how when we get out of here," I tell him. I concentrate on the fire again, moving the matching flames in Ash's cell as well. "In the beginning there were seven gods, the most powerful of which were the twins Zahra and Kilano. Zahra was the goddess of life and Kilano the god of fire and ashes. Together they created the dragons."

Persephone: Leonidas' Domina

Persephone: Leonidas' Domina

It took years, years after the world was nothing but a little speck of dust in space, the population already diminished to a terrible rate that the gods answered. The Twelve Olympian gods namely Zeus, Poseidon, Apollo, Ares, Dionysus, Hermes, Hera, Aphrodite, Athena, Artemis, Demeter and Hestia, all came down from Mount Olympus, saying that the cries of their children had reached their ears and had come to help. They divided the world into two sections, the male and the female. When each gender was born, a tattoo showed on its skin. This tattoos were of two colours. Red, for the men, to prove that they are Dominus, meaning Master of the women that had to submit below them, and Blue, for the

For a moment, she thought he wouldn’t answer. Then he said, “Not enough. But more than most.” “Tell me everything.” A soft exhale left him. “All right.” He leaned back, the firelight casting shadows along his jaw, bare chest and well shaped abdominal muscels. Then he began. “There are… more than just the Moon Goddess. That much you know. But what most don’t understand is that the gods aren’t like us. Not in their desires. Not in their morals. They were forces before they had names. Some chose to take form, to create order. Others stayed wild.”

The Demon Queen's Destiny

The Demon Queen's Destiny

Ford asked. “I was faced with about a hundred gods and goddesses telling me to leave her alone and let her continue her work. Veles and Morrigan were there. So were Leto, Persephone, Hades, Artio… Death, war, shapeshifters, animals. The gods of all of these were standing in our yard, telling me to stop.” I answered. “Having her will help our side, though. She’s a strong fighter and, like she said, she can command the enemy demons.” Anders said.

He sadly smiled. Raine didn’t speak and remained silent. “As for the other guardians… they also had their difficulties.” Lovis continued. “Just like the gods Tet and Phyros… you know that gods are promiscuous in nature since they wanted to spread their blood.” He spoke. “Tet and Phyros are just two of hundreds of their parents’ children. But both are pure-blooded gods because both their parents are gods, despite the differences in their mothers.” He explained. “And the other guardians?” Raine asked.

Adventures Of the Crown: The Purple Wolf and the Enerawyn

Adventures Of the Crown: The Purple Wolf and the Enerawyn

He had never seen any animal have such vivid colours before, but he had certainly heard of them. He recalled the stories in the books he had read. Some of the old Gods had different forms but it was always easy to tell them apart from mortals. He recalled reading about a God that looked like a huge tree with a human-like face. However, those Gods often created beings known as demi-Gods. These immortals could look as normal as any living creature, but there were some who did not. Creatures like these wolves might not have been demi-Gods themselves, but it was very possible that they may have been descended from them. Of course, the Goddesses of today were more mortal in appearance, or so stat
