Chapter 1: The Phoenix Rises Emilia's eyes snapped open, her gaze piercing through the darkness. The memories came flooding back, like a tidal wave crashing against the shores of her mind. The fire, the screams, the feeling of helplessness as her world burned to ashes. She rose from the bed, her movements fluid and calculated. The past was etched on her face, a map of scars and determination. Emilia's gaze fell upon the mirror, and for a moment, she saw the girl she once was – innocent, naive, and full of hope.

Angel shook his head and assured on testing Mira’s theory regarding him finding her whereabouts. “I’m starting to like you for our mistress than to that nomad. Anyway, rest well, Alpha.” Andriel smiled genuinely as she admitted to liking him for their mistress more than the annoying one. ‘Nomad? Who’s that creature that’s annoying my mate?’ “Calm down will you? We’ll learn about it soon.” Angel sighed at the growling complaint of his wolf through his mind. “Same to you, Andriel.” Angel was curious about who was that nomad but he didn’t ask instead he returned the favor to her. He likes her too. Andriel was an intimidating but at the same time a gentle vampire.

I don't know how, but in fact Angel was able to reach the top of an eight-story building just by running without getting tired. Angel pushed the door in front of him roughly, suddenly a strong wind hit his face. He went out to the highest peak of the campus building, looking around to look for the perpetrator of the murder.
