Screaming is for the broken. And I am neither of those anymore. So when he said my name in that hallway, I didn’t turn. When he tried again, softer this time, I didn’t let him hear the crack that ran like lightning through my chest. I just walked. Because silence, I’ve learned, is heavier than any curse.

Chapter 6: The Breaking Point Leilani Moore I had finally come back home, or at least, what used to feel like home. My feet felt like they were moving on their own, each step toward the living room heavier than the last. The silence inside was deafening, yet it felt comforting like a quiet that was just waiting to swallow me whole. As soon as I closed the door behind me, the dam inside me broke. The tears started flowing uncontrollably like a river finally freed from the dam that had been holding it back. I collapsed onto the couch, burying my face in my hands as sobs wracked my body.

Of course a big fight was going to ensue with Sampson and Odessa winning and living happily ever after. The Beautiful Silence- Jocelyn was finally going to break though Lola's locked memories and find where Gunner was hiding. Since her memories would be unlocked Lola was able to return to her normal life with her second chance mate, Paul. They finally track down Gunner and destroy him. I say but he puts his index finger on his lips and gestures me to keep silence. I don't want him to read it. God! I really don't want him to read it. Specially last some pages. But to my utter disappointment, he turns the page, THE LAST PAGE, which I never want him to see and he lifts his eyes to me. He looks at me with question filled eyes and I couldn't help but tear down as he looks at me. "Don't look at me like that. It's the truth," I say. "You mean you're pregnant?" he raises his brows.

The water was clear enough for me to see every rock that covered the bottom of it, every color could be seen. "Subhanallah" I whispered as I heard birds chirping around me. The first time I talked my throat felt like sandpaper no one said a word when it came to my past, they knew it all from going through the journal that had been my only companion in the darkness I came from, I didn't say anything when Myra returned the journal to me with tears in her eyes and I looked away from the sympathetic gazes of my family.

Suddenly she smiled again "I'll be waiting for that day Kareem...that day I'll prove you wrong..." she said with so much confident ****** I performed my prayers. I came up to the room after spending about thirty minute in my study room. I wanted to stay longer,I wanted to brush up a few work but I suddenly have this pain in my head. It wasn't letting me see clearly and I was beginning to feel drowsy. seeing the way as everything is as silence as this, I think she's so smart enough not to tell our families anything, I'm sure it would have gone out of hands if they should know,turning a little things into a big deal most especially Mom
