When they were out of sight, she stole to where the babies are knelt beside them, cooing like a dove. “You guys take care of yourself, I’m sticking with these angels, and yes, they are sleeping in my bed tonight.” Georgia raised up an eyebrow, “Trust me, you don’t want do that. Especially when there is a life sized Annabelle doll in the mix.” Riya looked at her in confusion, “what do you mean?” “The female,” Anna responded, forking the last bite of pancakes down her throat, “she packs a punch.”

And then, once that was over, we could begin. “I've been researching,” Angela began almost immediately. We all watched as she pulled out a large, tattered book from her bag. It looked ancient, the pages yellowed with age, the leather cover cracked and worn. “There might be a way to help Alvin.” My breath hitched. “What do you mean?” I asked. Angela shook her head, flipping open the book. She opened it to a page and shoved it into the middle of the table, tapping on the page with her finger. “His hand.”

He dragged a gloved finger over a charred bookshelf, picked up a broken piece of pottery, and overturned a burnt cushion, searching for clues with an irritatingly calm demeanor. I stood rooted to the spot, my mind spinning in complete circles. “Andrew… you can see him?” I whispered, looking between the two of them. “How can you see him now? Downstairs, Madame Agnes could see him because she’s a witch, which I still find hard to believe, but up until now, nobody else could! Why can you see him?”

Back then she had laughed aloud at Reebah's excitement, her heart hammering with childish hope at the thought that one day she would practically be a queen, married to the alpha and having his cubs, furthering their pack and ensuring that everyone was safe and cared for. “Now look at me.” Talking to herself had become a habit for Angel. After all, she rarely had anybody else to talk to and sometimes she felt as though if she didn’t, she might lose the ability to talk at all. Holding back angry and frustrated tears, Angel turned onto her side and closed her eyes, attempting one final time to get to sleep before she realized that it wasn’t going to be possible.

Angel never imagined that Anne would occupy this room for a long time. "If I knew you were going to be here that long, I should have bought you a television." Angel's words were greeted by a shake of Anne's head. "I'm old, honey. My head will get dizzy if I watch television." Anne took out a book from her suitcase, then she gave it to Angel. This is no ordinary book. This is Angel's first novel. "Can you sign my book? I'm your number one fan." Angel blinked in disbelief. Her lips were also slightly parted because she was too shocked. Angel doesn't even know if Anne bought her book secretly. "Is this the help that mom meant earlier? Do you really want to ask for my autograph?"

I had an even stronger impression that Reive went into raptures from my embarrassment. “Of course, Angel, there’s a small pond near here.” He led me through bushes and trees in a direction known only to him. And I, silly sheep, kept my eyes on him, not even thinking that if he left me there all alone, I wouldn’t be able to find my way out of the forest. “But why do you call me Angel?” I asked while we were walking. “Once upon a time, angels were called mysterious creatures flying high in the sky,” he readily began telling his story. “They were said to be creatures of other worlds. Worlds where there wasn’t any of the necromancy and magic we were familiar with.”

This is Book Two of the Demonic Angels Trilogy, this book will not make sense unless you read ‘Alpha’s Fallen Angel’ first. Thank you guys for reading and for all the support! Aylin is by far my favorite character of mine, so I’ve been looking forward to this book for quite awhile! Enjoy :)

Amber climbed in, sliding under the duvet beside her best friend, the bed dipping slightly under her weight. She lay closer to the night lamp, flipped open the book, and took a deep breath. She shoved Raven’s voice aside, her wolf seemed to have something to say, some opinion about running back to Mason, and forced herself to focus on the words. Her eyes landed on the first paragraph. "In a land where angels and demons live together…” she muttered aloud, voice quiet and hesitant as she continued reading. Bella shook her head fondly, already drifting off to sleep beside her, breathing evening out into soft, even puffs.

He would make it a better place for the unwanted and make a home for himself. Laurent was a stubborn Angel and he would make an even better Fallen.
