I lay down in it, propping the book up on my knees. “What book is that?” Angel asks me, peering over at the cover. “The History of Dragons,” I tell her, and she looks at me funny. “Why would you need that? What don’t you know about your own kind?” she scoffs. I sigh. “Everything.”

He chuckled at the expression on her face and silenced her with his lips again as she tried to speak but she wouldn't even have spoken if she had wanted to because he took her mind off every thoughts except the feel of him, his body and his heart. But whenever there’s a disruption in heaven, I’ve heard from the greater one that angels on earth are prone to exposure. Their invisibility wears off and humans will be able to see them.
