Anne let out a deep sigh, but shrugged, as a sign of defeat. My religious and kind friend approached and put her hands on top of Zylah's, leaning her face between our benches. She looked even more desolate when she looked at herself closely, however, her body blinked softly in the golden glow when her fingers touched mine. The brightness didn't hold. It came up and went out. It wasn't constant. Another unknown that made my head hurt from thinking so much. How could she be an almost queen?
