Everyone was experiencing a slow day at NextGen. It was one of those days where nothing urgent was happening, and most employees in the PR department were just passing time until the end of day. Jess had spent a good part of the morning filling in some paperwork for her supervisor. Pam had been more busy because Steve had called in sick and she had to cover his work load. Lunch hour gave them both a chance to catch up since they did not have much time to chat in the morning. Jess noticed that Pam seemed to have developed some sort of negative attitude towards her, and the lunch had not been as pleasant as Jess had anticipated.
