Day 18 : A Surprise Proposal Chyrill decided to stay for more days at the Arland Camp she wanted to spend more time with the Sergeant she is now in love with that guy’s day with him is a memorable from the time she arrived at this Camp he always there for her, saving her life twice and he shows how caring he was. She felt like she was still dreaming from the kisses, the way she kiss by the Sergeant makes her thrilled.

I said, my voice quiet. “I know what kind of woman stands in the middle of a ballroom and doesn’t cry,” he replied. “I know what kind of woman builds something from the ground up only to have it ripped from her hands. So I know you enough to know that you want to bring the bastard to his knees.” I swallowed hard. “Why one hundred and nine days?” His lips curved slightly. “Because that’s exactly how long it took him to break you.” I looked away without a word. I knew he was right but I didn't want to accept

"Don't worry about it, Jason. I'm not angry. I don't need Rachel to apologize to me." I looked at Raven's condescending face and my heart sank. Luckily, I chose to give up treatment. In less than seven days, I would no longer need to remember all the things that upset me. I would no longer be in pain because of Raven's provocation. For the first time ever, I was looking forward to that day.

And today was one of those days. Worst of them all.

"...you have been out for days." My hands slowed down from drying my hair, and I found myself staring at him with a pointed glance. "What do you mean by days?" What is he talking about? Days? Or hours? "Days, Alpha." He repeated, confirming his earlier words. My eyes narrowed slightly, letting his words digest in my mind. Days? "How many days are we speaking of exactly?" How could I have been out for days? It feels like a few hours. Long hours indeed, but it is not possible for me to be out for days. It has never happened before and I doubt there is anything capable of making me do so.

It’s now Friday and I’ve gotten the first week officially over with. I’m completely defeated by the bullshit every day has brought on. Today is the day I meet up with Chase. It’ll be nice to see a familiar face and to leave this god-forsaken place for a few hours.

"We have three days." "Yes, Eloise."

The day I picked up the divorce certificate, the sun was bright. Mason looked like all his strength had been pulled out of him. He stared at me from across the lobby and didn't say anything. I had thought the divorce would be the end of it. He hung on me like a ghost. He took an extended leave from the squad and parked himself at the front door of my building. He stood outside with roses in his hand and apologized to me in the same words, every day.
