The next morning 🌅 🍭 Kathie POV 🍭 I woke up, took my bath, dressed up with the little strength I have. It's been three three days I locked myself in here. I haven't been to work for two days. Today is Wednesday. I think it is high time I let go of John and move on with my life. I have cried alot that I had no tears left. Am very weak. I think I should just agree to marry Daniel.

But she knew that everyday wouldn't be Sunday for her. Finally it was 16:00; the time that had a special place in every employees' prayer. They just wished when that bloody clock would strike 16:00 and they could all leave the office. "Let's go," Alice came and stood in front of her desk.

The seventh was a woman, she answered then hung up on me.” Lucas wondered if it may have been the same girl who answered for The Sensei. Obviously the contacts know each other on some level, perhaps they’re part of the same gang. This was all too much for one day. “Let’s get some rest, we’ve got another big day ahead of us tomorrow.” Emma said. She got up from the sofa and led Lucas back to his bedroom. I groan inwardly, dragging myself upright, and squint at the gray morning light bleeding in through the curtains. My body feels like it’s been dragged behind a truck. Every muscle sore, every nerve still humming from yesterday's long shift hours. I’m off today. And tomorrow. Thank God. Tuesday can go fuck itself for now.

She nodded in agreement. I looked at the clock hanging on the wall, it was only 11:15, and I still had to wait until Katie was able to be let loose for lunch. So, I decided to sit and chat with YN3. She didn’t seem to mind. She was telling me how all the work centers had the same lunch time. But each center had their own designated PT times. So that explains why Katie didn’t mention PT to me. My work center’s PT was at 11. YN3 told me, Katie’s was at 3. So, they musted before then, and then did PT, then were done for the day. Lucky. I’d rather have PT at the end of the work day, but I could manage before lunch.

THE NEXT DAY Lydia dressed up for work and walked out of her house, she took a taxi and head to work. She got to work and head to the office, she got there and as usual she met it empty. She walked out and got his coffee, she got back to his office and drop it on the table, she sat on his chair and checked his email so she could prepare his schedule for the day. She went through it and prepared the schedule, she was about to stand up when another message came up on the screen.

THWACK! That was a good one, I was proud I’d got up early just for that jab. THWACK, THWACK, THWACK. Dr Vanum’s potential diagnosis yesterday had thrown me, so after a restless night, I’d decided to haul my butt to the gym. I might be exhausted, but throwing one punch at a time, picturing His face on the bag...it was good therapy. My phone alarm started going and I paused. I hadn’t realised I’d been here so long. But if I wanted to be at work on time, then I better wrap up now. I collected my things and headed to the changing rooms for a shower.
