Another Word For Team Player Novels & Stories

“Adrian. Welcome. How you feeling after seeing all that?” I couldn’t speak at first. I was a quiet guy—always had been. Books over parties, headphones on, head down. My voice came out small. “I… I’m here for the pledge.” Coach chuckled low, standing up. His cock was still fully hard, thick and heavy, curving slightly upward. “This…is the pledge, kid. The boys on this team love cock. We love pleasure. So we, I mean they, all choose this as the team's pledge. Every single one of us is either a damn good cocksucker or a damn good hole-fucker. Sometimes both.” He stepped closer, eyes raking over me. “So which one are you?:

"But you did not get here by accident. Every single one of you earned this locker, this jersey, this shot. Tonight is not about being perfect. It is about leaving everything you have got on that field, so that no matter what the scoreboard says at the end, you can look at each other and know you gave this game everything." Something shifted in the room. Shoulders straightened. A few guys started nodding along, energy building with every word. "You are a team," Coach went on. "Not eleven guys doing eleven separate jobs. A team. Play for each other tonight. Play like the guy next to you needs you to. Because he does." The room erupted, guys shouting, clapping pads, stomping boots against the f

“Honestly? I don’t know. I’ve got the rings, the stats, the contract. At this point I’m just playing because I love it.” “So you’re not chasing legacy anymore. Just… fun?” “Is that allowed? Having fun?” “In professional sports? Apparently not.” She’s taking notes. “Your teammates say you’re different off the field. Quieter. More—” she checks her notes “—‘selfless’ was the word your center used.” “Don’t believe everything you hear.” “Should I believe the cocky asshole persona instead?” “That’s not a persona. That’s just me on Sundays.” “So you contain multitudes.”

one of the little kids asked, "why do you always tell us that being a good teammate is more important than scoring goals?" I thought about Ophelia and how she'd supported my career without asking for credit or recognition. "Because the best players make everyone around them better. They help their teammates succeed instead of just worrying about their own statistics." "Like how you help us get better at hockey?" "Exactly. And someday, when you're older and facing tough decisions, I want you to remember that helping other people achieve their dreams is more satisfying than any personal success you could ever have." After practice, Michael stayed to help me lock up the equipment room.

I said out of frustration. I was stunned when he hit the ball and even had a homerun. Everyone who was cheering earlier is now on a dead silence after what they’ve witnessed. I came back to my senses when Wit’s friend laughs. I crooked my forehead when the coach signalled him to come down which he obeyed. “Why didn’t you also play?” I heard the coach asks Wit’s friend after we went to follow him. “Wit can do it.” The coach asks his baseball team member to gather near him. “You never run out of tricks, Wit!” the coach praised him. Wit just smiled. “They were our secret players last year, the all around player Wigee and the legendary player Astound.” Coach introduced them.

Eddie could have said something like that, I suppose. Justin had David, Eddie, and Martin on his team, while I had Anthony, Simon, and Stephanie. Four to four. It was not clear to me how talented these other players were, so my ability to throw and catch a soccer ball was limited. Still, I thought it was funny. Justin has a reputation for being a stoic soul. Despite being a girl, she was capable of throwing the ball quite far. Each of our teams scored two touchdowns; I didn't score any, but I was able to keep Justin's team from scoring a lot, and I was a competent quarterback while in that role.

Joshua notice him that the nerdy guy must become his teammates. “Hey, you! Still you don’t have a team? If that so, why not make a team with me?” said Joshua to him. “Ahm, but I’m not that’s strong, I mean I’m useless, everyone here don’t Want me be their teammates, maybe you can find another one much better than me” replied the nerdy guy to him. “Its okay, team with up me, so that we only find one more to form our team.” Said Joshua to him.

"That has a name, Val. Even if it's comfortable." "It's called teamwork," he said. "I know that's probably a foreign concept in Vesper, but you're welcome to look it up." A few people nearby made sounds they were trying to suppress. I didn't let it land. I just smiled, because the sharpness of the response told me more than a flinch would have. He wasn't afraid of me. He was protecting something. I leaned in. Just slightly. Voice dropping out of the crowd's reach.

he sighed while looking down at his feet. "You know what, I became friends with some people. They're nice and genuine. They treat me like a baby. Just like how you used to do. I told you their names already. Tristan, Zayden, Logan and Rowan. We are called N team. We all have N at the ending of our names. Funny right!? Now there's a girl her name is Hazel! She's just like me sometimes. And Tristan is trying hard to get her." he laughed while recalling yesterday's incident.
