I gave my cousin a slightly smug look of victory as I waited for instruction.
“I ken your reasoning, cousin,” Anton mused, “but I nay agree. ‘Twill take its toll on the lass,” Then with a shrug, he added, “So, I am outnumbered.” Rubbing his hands together, he looked at me and said, “Get your energy revved up like so.”
Following suit, I joined Lance and Anton in activating my energy by rapidly rubbing my hands together. We did it for so long and with enough vigor to cause a burning sensation in my palms.
