I still kept my eyes on Dante Alvarez, waiting patiently, and cautiously, like a hawk marking its prey, waiting for the perfect moment to execute my plan.
And when I saw him exit the field, cradling his helmet and water can in his arms, I rose to my feet and slipped away from the field, keeping my eyes on him, but my distance from him.
I watched him slip in through the side entrance, and adjusting my jacket, I walked over to entrance and leaned against the wall, awaiting his reappearance.
I needed him out in the open, not in an enclosed space. I soon got bored of waiting, and popped a bubble gum into my mouth, trying to keep away the drowsiness that was starting to creep into my eyes.
