I quickly ended the hug, as a bit of laughter escaped my lips. "Thanks for coming," I said smiling. "Will be seeing you around," Frank said. "You bet" I replied. As I watched him blend into the crowd. I look to see if Damian was still standing where I had seen him earlier, but found he was gone. My eyes wandered through the crowd till I felt his hand around my waist. "Looking for me?" he asked. "Hmm..what was that about?" I asked teasingly "You are giving me more reasons to fire his ass," he said jokily.

He slammed Damien to the ground and punched him right in the face. "Damien Reed, you've picked the wrong man to cross!"

This isn't supposed to happen. "Enough!" I finally yelled, but my voice was shaking. Their laughing could not be heard because my heart was beating so fast. What are they going to do next? How could I— "Get your dirty hands off of her!" There was a loud roar that cut through the confusion. I turned my head to the voice—Damien. As he stomped toward us, his eyes bright with anger, he made me feel both relieved and confused. Before I could think about it, Damien punched the man and knocked him out. The others stopped moving when they understood who they were up against. Their confidence went down. Damien didn't stop, though. His anger never stopped, and his hands flew.

He bellowed before he lunged at Damian and punched him on the jaw. I cried when I heard the sound of Mr. Olson’s knuckle against Damian’s jaw. The impact made me shut my eyes, and tears began to stream down my face.

As we said our goodbyes, I gave him a friendly side hug. But when I turned around, Damian's face was twisted with rage. "How could you do that?" he shouted, slapping me across the face. "You're a cheating whore!" I was stunned by his sudden outburst, and the stranger tried to intervene. But before he could say anything, Damien punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground. I tried to explain that there was nothing going on between me and the stranger, that he was just an old friend. But Damian wasn't listening. He dragged me to the car and drove me home in silence.

Damian's POV The moment Fred opened his mouth and called me cousin, something inside me snapped. I did not stop to think I did not look at anyone else I went straight for him. My fist connected with his face so hard that his head jerked sideways. His men gasped but none of them dared to move before he even fell. I hit him again and then again he dropped to the ground, but I did not stop. I landed punch after punch, holding nothing back. “Damian!” He choked, coughing out blood as he tried to shield his face.

Damian was soon on him, and they started to exchange blows. “Damian!” I screamed, but he wasn’t listening. He held Duke by the throat and punched him even more. “Stop it!” I yelled. He was going to murder Duke, and I wasn’t going to be the reason. Weak Duke tried to hit him again but he blocked it, and rose up. I thought that was it, and sighed in relief. But then he started to kick Duke’s stomach and stomp his abs. It was bloody. I screamed “Please Damian! That’s enough!” I cried, rushing to grab Damian by the waist. He seemed to relax. I was crying so much.

Gathering every ounce of strength, she threw herself at Damian, tackling him to the ground with a ferocity she didn’t know she possessed. They crashed to the dirt, and Cathrine immediately took the upper hand, straddling him and raining down punches, each one fueled by pure, unrestrained fury. Her fists met his face, over and over, her knuckles bruising from the force. Damian’s head snapped back, blood trickling from his lip, but he laughed—a low, mocking sound that only fueled her rage further. Just as her fist rose again, Damian retaliated with a single, brutal blow. His fist connected with her jaw, sending her sprawling backward. Damian was also shocked by what Anthony did, and he was not ready for that. "You idiot!" Damian stood up and kicked Anthony hard, causing him to fall down. My eyes widened as he quickly rushed at Anthony and punched him repeatedly in the face. I almost didn't move there right away because of fear, and I didn't know what to do. "Kali, go!" Damian said to me. I looked at the open door and immediately stood up, but I kept my eyes on the two of them. Anthony had no fight because Damian was on top of him while punching him.

Every punch was hateful. "I've had enough patience," Damian growled, punching Nathaniel in the face. "You've touched something you shouldn't." Nathaniel fell to the ground, blood pouring from the corner of his lips. Damian's men had managed to take out the rest of Nathaniel's men. Damian stood over Nathaniel's prone body. "This time I'll let you live. But if you dare to approach Yara again, I'll make sure you won't be able to breathe again."
