Her thoughts felt tangled, pulling her in directions she did not want to follow. “You do not know what I am,” she said. “No,” he agreed. “But neither do you.” That unsettled her deeply. Elsewhere in the fortress, Alaric stood alone in his private chamber, staring out into the night. He had left Elysia’s room because remaining there had become dangerous. Not to her, but to himself. The curse lay beneath his skin as it always had, a constant presence he had learned to live with. It was absolute. It did not warn. It did not fail. It killed instantly and without exception.

Then the doctor ran in as we stepped back and Xavier growled as he was male, unmated and unmarked as far as we could tell. "I came as quickly as I could, alpha, what's going on?" he asks, looking at the unconscious girl in front of me. A gasp of fear and shock escapes him and he backs away. "You have to kick her out!! I cannot treat her! She's the Cursed Rogue!! She matches the description perfectly! Alpha, she cannot-" I snapped. "SILENCE!" Xavier roared. It was rare for our wolves to actually speak on their own like that without their human counterpart, but in this instance, I was right along with him. The doctor instantly closed his mouth and bowed his head in submission.

She howled, picking me up from the bench by my sore arm. “I don’t really have a choice here..” I shot back, trying to keep my tone very low. “You think you can change him? I have been here longer than anyone else and I will tell you the truth. You can’t stay here with that man!” I swallowed the lump in my throat and slowly pulled my hand away from hers, “why not?” I asked and she scoffed. “Jordan is cursed! There’s a beast living within him and he won’t tell you this because he wants to trap you here and drain the life out of you until you have absolutely nothing to live for!”

I believe her face was engraved on my mind and soul in that brief moment. God damnit. She had long black bouncy hair, while I had a long black shaggy mullet with white highlights. I was suddenly motivated to dye my hair completely black. "You are aware that you cannot love another person if they are not your mate, right, Celare?" Sarreth, the little shit, asked. Sarreth's question prompted me to raise my brow. Of course, I'm well aware of that shit. My mate is irreplaceable to me; no one can ever fill them in every way, but this whole thing about this mysterious goddess gives me a fucking burst of energy.

I got rejected. I am the weakest omega of the Cresentvale pack. I'm not only poor, I'm also an orphan. And worst of all. I am cursed. In my lineage, women are known to be born with a mark of the full moon, this mark was known as a curse, I don't know about it but from what I've heard, no woman in my lineage who has that mark has ever lived past the age of fifty. My mother died immediately after I was born and it was assumed that the curse had been broken since she has the mark, and still died so early but then they were surprised to find the mark on my neck, only that this time it was the shape of a half moon.

As always, these stupid Curse that I have always comes when it wants. And I don’t have anything to stop it or prevented it from happening to me, as annoyed as I am, right now, there is no helping me at all. The worse thing about the curse ‘Lust Overdrive’ is that if I don’t calmed it down, the effect on my body and even my sanity will be rather bad, heck according to T.A.S I might even died from these curse if it doesn’t got handled correctly. Usually, when I am home, I can just handle it personally or get help from Hwang Hwa Young. But now that I am out here, I don’t know it these will kill me or not.
