Catriona smiled and nodded. She stood and walked to the beanbag couch slowly since she already knew the layout of her room. It was minimal but had high security. Tequila closed the window and let her puppies in. They would soon grow bigger. There were breeds of Bullmastiff, Rottweiler, American Pitbull, Doberman, and Akita. All of them were protective dogs. She bought them all with her one million to protect herself and her babies. She patted each of them, then raised her hand. They all stopped but kept wiggling.

As Nakos pulled his truck up to the main house, Bones came barreling around the corner and stopped to sit on his haunches. Though the sheepdog's tongue lolled, his postured deflated as if disappointed in the visitors. Amy released her seatbelt from the passenger side. "Looks like someone misses Olivia." Nakos grunted. "Or Nate. The dog follows him everywhere." They climbed out and warm, humid air tinged with the scent of pine and soil bathed her face. Hot sun beat down and created the perfect lighting for some shots she had in mind.

A male and female, Apollo and Artemis, they were both pitch black with wrinkles all over their faces and bodies. They sleep on a huge dog bed at the end of her bed and followed her around the house until it was time to go outside and walk the perimeter with her Team. The new guys didn’t quite understand this yet.
