She placed her hand on her head, trying to comprehend the matter, and he wrapped his hand on her back to lift her up, after he noticed that she was unable to stand on her feet.

"I am Arachne," she hissed, her voice like a snake slithering through the grass. "And you, Ruth, are a threat to my power." I stood tall, my heart racing with fear. "I don't know what you're talking about," I lied, trying to keep my voice steady. Arachne laughed, the sound sending shivers down my spine. "Don't play dumb, Ruth," she sneered.
