Kamrynn's POV The moment I stepped outside, the courtyard greeted me with a breathtaking display of light and life. Lanterns hung in delicate arcs along the perimeter, their soft, golden glow illuminating every corner of the space. They flickered like fireflies against the dark velvet sky, casting an ethereal ambiance that felt almost magical. The bonfire at the center of the courtyard was immense, its flames crackling and roaring, sending spirals of glowing embers into the air. The firelight danced across the faces of the gathered Pack members, who sat or stood around it, talking, laughing, and singing with unbridled joy.

But even comfort can cool the brightest flame. --- The Whispering Flame One night, during the new moon, the Heartfire dimmed. Not extinguished— just quieter. Its golden glow turned pale, its hum barely audible. The Council gathered in silence, Selene’s granddaughter among them—a woman named Arianne, whose eyes reflected the shimmer of both flame and shadow. She placed her hand above the coals and whispered, “What troubles you, old friend?” The fire pulsed weakly, sending a flicker of light across her face.

Normally, within every year, Bruno and friends usually make out time to go on a short trip. Wait, before I continue, let's give these group of friends a name. “The paragons" will be fine, it's our joint decision to give them the name though. So, that year, the Paragons decided to go to the woods for their normal yearly trip. The trips usually last for three to four days. So, before the trip, certain preparation were being made by different individual. Each had to take up the role he or she could handle; the food aspect, the sports aspect, the organizing of the tents, the security aspect and host of others. It was Ella and Bruno that assessed the location and found it worthy for the trip.

Lucas Today is my 10th day in the witch tribe. After getting along these days, the witch is much friendlier than I imagined. The bonfire's warm embrace cast a flickering dance of light and shadow across the faces of the gathered witches. Laughter and music filled the air as the night progressed, weaving a tapestry of joy and celebration. Among the revelers, my gaze was unerringly drawn to Ariana. Ariana indulged in the spirits of the occasion, her laughter ringing through the air like tinkling bells. I watched her with a mixture of amusement and tenderness, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips as she embraced the merriment.

Zander was completely focused on me now, his computer and paperwork forgotten. “He was nice at first, but then when I went to come on break, he started getting pushy about joining me. Ash told him I’d catch him on fire, and we’d roast marshmallows while he burned.” Zander smiled. “Ash and his sense of humor never fail. I bet the Vampire avoids you from now on. Fire is one of the few ways to kill them.” “So, are Gargoyles the only ones immune to fire?” I asked.

My subconscious mind started replying to me. "This is all your fault!" I yelled at stars making an angry face while wiping out my tears with my hands. "Now why are you blaming them?" My subconscious mind asked me for which I started throwing daggers at sky. "Because they are the reason for my current situation!" I exclaimed while angry tears are oozing out from my eyes. "Huh! Now stop behaving like a silly and crazy kid. Explain clearly." My subconscious mind said. "I asked the stars to align properly and send my THE ONE to me ASAP. But now I think, they got misaligned, making the wrong one enter my life instead of my THE ONE!!!" I cried out loud.

To not imagine hauling her onto his lap in front of the entire class— “Malick.” The sharp voice of Professor Thorne pulled him back. “Would you care to share with the class what elemental traits make a familiar incompatible with shadowbinding?” All eyes turned to him. “…Uh.” His voice cracked. “…If they’re infused with celestial light or any kind of angelic resonance, they’ll… short out the bind and explode.” Silence stretched. Then Thorne nodded. “Correct. Though perhaps next time you could deliver your answer with less… panic.”

The fire flickered again. The Vulcanus elders said there were three layers of light in any fire. The outermost was the amorphous aura, the one inside that was the white flame, and the last one, the innermost, was called the dark light. All these levels reflected the ceaseless war within each red Slayer’s heart.

Using my magic while she was feeding from me accelerated A room of six shimmering lights, like candle flame. One of the six was flickering, growing weaker and weaker until only the wick smoldered. There was a seventh light in the room. Only it was cold, dark, and without heat. It was desperate, grasping for the light with everything it had, but it was destined to remain frozen. I pulled from those five shimmering lights, trying desperately to grasp some of that strength for my own before Ariana devoured it. I knew that Alec and Kade were among the five, but I was smothered in layers of agony that were too thick to peel back.

Because now she felt like he was almost like Jake. Maybe all brothers were similar. Marvin found some Arclights and gave them to Lia and Aster. Lia had Arclights. The True Hate fans had their light stick called Arclight. It was a mushroom that had mood lighting. It could sense the nearest nightstick and form a shade that was not the same but complementary to it. It made everyone's Arclight look as if they were staring at a rainbow. Aster had an Arclight too. He just tweaked it so fast that no one understood.
