He had messed with the wrong person. Jade huffed victoriously and reached into her bag. She pulled out a sticker which she stuck to his head and then her phone. She removed the tracker on his sleeve and took a picture of his ID card and then of him. Sending the first picture to a contact saved as Lewis on her phone, she instructed that he dug up every dirt on him and sent it to her in less than thirty minutes.

Ayleen asks, desperate to help in any way she can. “Can you call that Vampire friend of yours? He might be able to tell us ways in which we can control the newly turned vampires.” Azraiel pleads. “Of course, I’ll call him right away.” She pauses for a second. “I also know a weredragon and a weretiger from H.O.P.E. mission. Is it okay if I call them too?” “Of course…that would be really helpful. Also, ask them if they know about other species.”

From my calculations, not every account has been locked inside the game, but there are too many now. For the next hour, I paced around the room, unable to stay in one spot for long. Neither Luka nor Jake was able to access the server completely, as an outside force was blocking them. The city blurred outside the window — cobblestone streets, white buildings, sunlight glinting off marble. After a while, Marco glanced at him in the rearview mirror. “May I ask something personal, Mr. Jay?” Jay raised an eyebrow. “Depends on the question.” Marco chuckled nervously. “Are you… an Alpha or a Beta?” Jay smirked faintly, eyes still on the passing streets. “Neither. I’m an Omega. A dominant one.” Marco blinked, caught off guard. “Ah. I see,” he said with an awkward laugh, eyes darting away. The rest of the drive passed in silence, though Jay could feel the man’s curiosity lingering like static in the air.

Jake They all hushed after Kari turned on music using her phone, their paint brushes coating the wall in a muted teal. Jake stayed close to Kari, making small talk here and there, loving the concentration on her face as she painted. He looked up as Drake walked in, the closest friend in Bar Harbor he’d made at the small gym where he’d spent many nights trying to purge the memories of Bethany from his mind. “Someone call for a help?” Drake stopped at the door, his hands on his hips as he looked around.

A tiny memory card slipped onto the table. Ryan frowned. "I didn't see this before." He picked it up between his fingers. There were no markings. No label. Just a plain black memory card. His pulse quickened. Whatever was stored on it had been hidden deliberately. Someone wanted him to find it. But only after he had already read the note. Ryan stared at the card for a long time. Questions raced through his mind. Who sent it? Why me? And what could possibly be on it? Outside, thunder rumbled in the distance as dark clouds slowly gathered over Miami.
