Arcane #viktor Novels & Stories

ARLO I was deep in conversation with an associate when I caught sight of Andre weaving through the crowd. Damn it. I should have seen this coming. He looked... sharper tonight, suit tailored just right, no visible signs of being wasted or high. But he was still Andre, and I knew my big brother enough not to put it past him tonight. Yeah, he was technically part of ARKA, even if all he did was bleed resources without giving a damn thing back. I wrapped up with the associate, Viktor, quickly, excusing myself with a firm handshake and a promise to circle back.

she rejected him, flatly. "Don't worry, you can go over the offer and where is my damn manners," He straightened up with a charming smile, "I'm Victor, cousin, and consigliere to the asshole who has not been treating you the way a lady should be treated," Arianna narrowed her gaze at Victor, she thinks she's going to like this one. How sweet it would have been if he was the crime lord, he seemed much reasonable to talk to. Who knows, with a deal or two, he would have given her the freedom she wanted.

“Port 6889. That’s where the data stream splits off. If Hale was sending something hidden, it’s buried there.” Adrien’s eyes flicked to him, admiration blending with exhaustion. “You caught that faster than I did.” Ryan allowed himself a small grin. “Guess I’m learning from the best.” Adrien didn’t answer, but his mouth curved slightly. Then, just as the code broke open, a new window flooded the screen a hidden folder. /ScepterArchive_01/ Adrien’s breath stilled. “That’s one of Viktor’s old operations. The ones he buried after” He stopped himself. The memories weren’t worth finishing.

"I thought the Queen turned you into a rug years ago." "She considered it." Viktor smiled, revealing fangs that were far too long for his mouth. "But I’m much better at pouring wine than being a floor decoration. And look at you. Bringing a Muse into the Sanguine Palace. Bold. Or desperate." "We're here for Hecate." Aradaa stepped forward, his silver veins pulsing. "Move aside, blood-sucker." Viktor’s eyes shifted to Aradaa’s stomach. He tilted his head. "Ah. The cargo. The little Prince who will end the world. Or save it. The bets are currently three-to-one in favor of the apocalypse."

Chapter 7: The rules VIKTOR’S POV I sat on the porch, watching the smoke curl from my cigar, bored out of my mind as I waited for the new girl who arrived at my pack today. Ariel Virellis. After my Beta took her to Ravenna, I ran a quick background check to confirm her story about being from Moonshade, my old pack. She hadn’t been lying. My grip tightened around the glass in my hand as memories I had buried deep began to crawl back. I shoved them aside, letting only one remain.

“I’m not afraid of you, and I won’t start now. The Haven Hospital is mine, and I worked my ass off to see it standing today. There’s nothing that will stop me from healing people, even those who were cursed and sentenced to death. If it’s within my power to heal them, then I will heal them.” “I am Viktor, and the Beta of the Eclipseborn pack,” he answered. “So believe me, Dr. Vale, you don’t want me or the pack as your enemy. You’ll be dead before you could even eat the dinner that your dear friend, Julie Thane, has prepared for you.” ‘Location spell?’ Nyra whispered. I swallowed and couldn’t believe Rayna was right. I brushed off the entire location spell and thought they couldn’t locate me

"Then name your price." Viktor studied me. His eyes were sharp, calculating, weighing his options. "A trade," he said. "Information for information." "I'm listening." "Malhorn isn't your only enemy." He paused, letting the words sink in. "There's someone else. And he's connected to Ariel." "Names." "Not yet. That's the trade." He straightened, wincing. "I tell you what I know about Ariel. You let me walk. And maybe, maybe, we talk again."

Viktor stared at me with a shocked expression on his face. "Ohh yes,” I nodded casually, smirking at his reaction. “I forgot to tell you as you weren't available the day I found out... Athena is Kira's lycan. “Like… ‘The Athena?’” Viktor asked again, his eyes wide with disbelief. “I was as shocked as you are now when I found out too.” I chuckled. “You know what that means right?” “I do.”

Well, he was straightforward. I ducked under his arm and went around him. I hurriedly backed away from him. I wanted to keep some distance between us and spend as little as possible time close to him. I had cancelled out my scent but I didn’t want to take any chances of him whiffing a smell of my body. Viktor turned around to face me with a smirk, “I see you are light on your feet, huh? Is that pure skill or is that magic too?” He sped towards me with a grin, “Well, it doesn’t matter what you’re on,” he paused as he threw rapid punches at me, “all I know is, I want to know what color the blood of a warlock is.”

The other two were strangers, but judging by their demeanor, they were powerful. “Alaric.” One of them, a man with slicked-back hair and a scar running down his cheek, extended a hand. His suit alone looked like it cost more than what I used to make in a year. “It’s been too long.” Alaric shook his hand with a firm grip before taking a seat. He pulled me down beside him, close enough that I could feel the heat of his body through the expensive fabric of his suit. “Vanessa, meet Viktor Ivanov. One of the biggest arms dealers in Eastern Europe.”
